I did the same. Galaxy tab 2, I found the apk on reddit and loaded the game and it works flawlessly. My tab is WIFI ONLY. That is not the problem.

The game doesn't want to install on my Galaxy Tab 2 either. I've posted http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1531166-galaxy-tab-2-meets-requirments-but-marked-as-incompatible/ in the support forum, let's see what happens. For some reason all other support topics have been marked as moderrator-only or something, they don't show in the list of topics and links to them tell me I can't view them.

It said something about signing into your account and hitting the free or install button.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, and Google play is telling me that my device is not compatible. The note said it will not install on devices with less than 1 GB ram... well that tablet has 1 GB of ram, so I don't think that's the problem. svcks since we've been waiting for a couple of months for this.

I too have been suffering the same problems.

My Galaxy Tab 3 can not download the game due to "compatibility" issues However my Brothers Galaxy tab 4 can.

Neither of us are on a Mobile plan with our tablets. And Of course I have only been harassed by Their automated response units when i try to email them about this problem. Its An Aggravated shame really. As Much as i hate Microsoft at least i could Get some sort of live support and help when i needed it. and not just some automated computer that sends me on a wild goose chase with the rest of the companies confused customers.

Get your [censored] together Bethesda.

Lucky you... how did you get past the "cannot download because you didn't buy the game" barricade?

There's instructions on the page I linked to that explains how to fix that.

I have BlueStacks (Android emulator) installed on my PC. So I went to Google Play store and installed the game on my PC to initiate the "buy game" issue. Then I followed the rest of the instructions. I plugged my tablet into my PC use the USB cable and accessed it like a drive. I downloaded the install file and copied it on my tablet. Ran the file from the file manager in the tablet (allowing for "non" google play games), and afterwards copied the obb file into the appropriate location. Viola! :)

I don't know..Is it legit? I'm really just hoping for Bethesda to offer a fix, either as a patch or otherwise. I should be able to play it on my HTC One S. Has anybody tried sending a tweet to Pete Hines or Todd Howard? It doesn't seem like they're even aware of the problem.

Edit: Nevermind..I just got impatient and tried following the instructions. It says go to Google Play and click "install", but it just won't do it for me. It says none of my devices are eligible, so I can't even click "install" because it's greyed out.

I've sent a tweet to Pete Hines along with @Bethesda and heard nothing back so far. Probably have to wait until Monday for an official response unless we are lucky. I'll post it if I get a response from Pete or @Bethesda.

It's good that you're trying. Infact, I should send a tweet myself, and maybe give him a link to this thread. It's all we can do right now. It's just frustrating. My phone isn't even that old. I mean, there's no good reason why I can't play it. I meet all the requirements, as far as I know.

Good idea, the more people who send him a tweet the better chance we have at a response or at least some faster action to fix it. This is kind of a serious bug I think.

Alright, you guys..I ended up successfully installing Fallout Shelter. Turns out you have to install the APK file FROM your phone..At least, that's how I did it with a package installer. The game's running great. No crashing or anything..So um..Yeah, it IS compatible with my phone after all. So this has to be a major bug, like Conundrum said. Because it's running perfectly.
