Devs, kindly fix OWB bug with....

Hoping the devs are still checking out reactions here. I'm not sure if this constitutes a spoiler, so I'll mark it just in case.

Spoiler
Devs, please kindly fix the Sink Central Intelligence Unit so that it's inventory and caps supply refreshes normally/regularly.

How about all the lag and freezes? That seems pretty important too.

There's already an active thread in this section concerning lag/freezes.

I'm aware, but don't you think playing the game properly is more important than restocking a vendors ...stuff? I mean both of those birds could be hit with one stone but seriously, the lag and freezing is a greater issue.

Hannibal, I'm sorry that you and others are experiencing lag/freezes, and I sincerely hope Obsidian can resolve this for you. I mean that.

But I created this thread to flag up the vendor issue separately. Not because it's a more important issue, but because it's a separate issue, unrelated to lag/freezes. And here you are chiming in to say "It's not as important!" I'm not saying it is, okay?

But can you kindly not derail it anyway?

You're right, I'm sorry. Vendors are frustrating too, and I'm hoping the inventory is fixed as well. DLC's can't be patched, so I wonder if they are going to re-upload fixed version, or just leave it as is.

At least you get to play the add-on, where I spent $10 on it can't get it to work with saves or new games and that goes for all the dlc's since the newest patch. I hope they fix it, but I highly doubt they even read anything here. PULL IT TOGETHER BETHESDA!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure of the exact reason, but here's what Sawyer says.

The second question is more relevant to our vendor situation.

Well, let's just wait for community patch. Modders don't know that patching DLCs is not possible, so they 'll certainly do it :)

Always excuses from these companies. A lazy/uncaring attitude is not a good way of keeping customers. I've seen numerous excuses for why the can't do this, or why they can't do that and it all seems to come down to laziness. The PS3 version of OWB is completely broken and unplayable, can't even enter or exit The Sink without the frame rate dropping to nothing. I finally exited the Sink after trying to play the DLC for a 6th time, and of course the frame rate was gone, I saved and quit. Upon reloading the game, and attempting to load the save I made when the FPS dropped out, and all I got was an endless loading screen for 30 minutes. Stop being lazy, and making excuses, and fix this problem.

You already bought it, so why they should care? The game was buggy as hell from start, and is buggy as hell after all patches. There are large known bug list at vault wiki, tons of community patches, there are community compilation patches, but they doesn't even care to just take what already done and just make it official update.

The only issue I've had is the vendor not restocking and vats wigging out and simply freezing me in place for a while, I believe the reason dlc can't be patched may lie with microsoft and sony not the devs being lazy, if they were lazy they'd have never patched the game instead they have several times.

DLC CAN be patched. Each DLC is a seperate module, and as such, can be updated seperately.

Worst bug I encountered so far is Fast Travel. Every time I enter a different location/cell and use Fast Travel right after that there is a very, very, very high chance the game crashes. It did not happen, or nearly as often, before installing OWB.

Quick edit: it seems as if, in the said situation, Fast Travel has a "cooldown". Try to FT within this erm.. cooldown, and the game crashes.

Uuugh. If they could fix anything, I wish it would be the fact I can't sell to SCIU because it wont give me caps.

SCIU, that thing never sells anything useful. It does not even sell mugs.

More than likely hoarding them somewhere..

I don't need ammo or supplies, I hack up my fellow lobotomites with a proto-axe and then feed on their corpses

There are tons of fission batteries, which can be used to recharge SEC and Muggy who gives you some ammo every day after upgrade. With virgilant recycler its more than enough. It's more problems with conventional ammo, it's good idea to bring it with you, there are no weight limit.

Check all the boxes and trunks and such you come across, there's quite a bit of conventional ammo around. Also plenty of enemies who carry some
