So Dexter was dissapointing... : Othor Games

Finally finished Dexter and I thought the ending was awful. *le sigh*. Has anyone else watched Dexter, and if so, what are your thoughts on it?

Personally, I thought it went WAY downhill after Season 4. I thought Lumen was boring, the Doomsday Killer turned out to be a crappy plot twist that was stupid (IMO), and all that crap with Hannah in the last two seasons was stupid. And I hated Dexter's character for basically [censored] up his son's life so he could appease Hannah.

But anyways, it's done. I'll give it overall 6.5/10 for an exceptional first 4 seasons. But now that I've done with that, I need something else to watch. Walking Dead is boring me to death (C wut i did thar?). I've wanted to watch an anime for a while but never seen one (well, except Dragon Ball Z) so just throw anything at me to watch, please.

Yep, watched it. It was ok. As you said, the first 3 or 4 seasons were very good and then the show went downhill from there, IMO. Since the show was already kind of losing me by the last couple of seasons I wasn't really shocked by the underwhelming ending. It just gradually tapered off to a "meh" for me.

Loved this series. My favorite Seasons in order are 1, 2, 4, 3, 7, 5, 6, 8.
