yeah well, I need to be set back in my place every once in a while so if it happens again just kind of shove me back down on my stool by the cow... :P


anyways I'll d/l this again when Fileplanet decides it will let me have the file again...

Awesome mod, too bad I'm playing a spear character right now. Every set so far has had a shield, not very friendly for two handed weapon users. Maybe a cow king set or even better hwanin? Nothing says DII like sigon set though...

lol i am tihnking about a full sigon set. Once i start adding more parts to the mod ( as in armor parts, as for now i am forcusing on weapons and shields) i will add it in ;)

For now however i guess i could whip up an "item" set for twohanded weapon wielders. The only items that are currently not weapons or shields are rings. So i am thinking a new set composing of two rings:

The Gemini Set:

Blue Gemini - Fortify Restoration 10, Fortify Health 10
Green Gemini - Fortify Fatigue 10, Fortify Speed 10

Set bonus: Fortify Attack 10, Nights Eye 10

what about the possibility of Amulets? I know there hasn't been much done afaik in this mod concerning them...

Amulets are on the to do list :)

On other news i had finished all the new shields, i had done all the new wands andi had made the necrom set, wrote all the scripts. It took me just under two hours.... and then as i was about to save...the CS crashes. I am burnt out for tonight. So i am heading to bed. Will most likly start it tomorrow evening. So the release is gonna be a few days now :(

EDIT: ahh phew *wipes forehead* - I had saved all the new shield stuff. So its just the wands and necrom and gemini set i have to do again.

ouch that svcks...sorry to hear that...that's why you set it to start autosaving after a certain period of time...oh well...[censored] happens and maybe you'll figure out an easier way to script an effect...

it is set on auto save lol, its why it caught all the shield stuff. I cant be bothered to redo it all tonight, but i am not that fussed that it got lost cause i dont have to spend all the time searching for meshes, re-naming them ect... as thats all done now. So its just a case of recreating the 60+ items andd writing the 300+lines of script :D (copy and paste may have to be used lol)

When I have lots of scripts to type out I do it outside of TESCS and save them as text files. Then when they're ready to be added to the plugin, I just copy and paste from the external editor into the TESCS script window, compile and save.

Might help save you a bit from that frustration and tedium if TESCS decides to blow up on you. -_-

New verion uploaded:

v4.0

- 22 new shields, bringing the total possible outcome up to 38 shields!
- Some shields have their own new meshes and textures! (so not all use the steel shield as a base!)
- 33 wands have been added along with the possiblilty to find "common and silver wands".
- Not all wands look the same!
- TWO New Set items: The Necrom Set and the Gemini Ring set, brining the total to 4 sets

hopefully this time fileplanet allows me to download it...

I didnt make the boneshield - Daduke did :D. At the moment the shield is used as a "unique mesh" for the Necrom Shield.

The bone helm is out there somewhere and yes once i get round to doing helms it will be added to the mod :)

If I can find you a decent enough replacement for your necrom shield, would it be possible for you to take the bone shield and make it part of a new set strictly of bone? I can think of a cuirass (sp) and maybe some leggings to make it a full set of bone armor & weapon...

but that is entirely up to you.

Sure. Though a complete Bone set will be a long way off, as i have yet to do any armor apart from shields ;)

hmm dark looking, with a skull on the front of it. Something that shows its a "necromnacer" type item.

Yep i already saw the necro armor, i guess that shield would do :) Thanks for the link

As for the "set items" link you posted to, i used those scripts as a base and built up from it.

I could use the enitre Necro armor as a "bone Set" and keep the bone shield as it currently is in the Necrom set.

Reason being that i dont think the Boneshield would go with the necro armor :)

However the boneshield doesnt have to be limited to one set. I am thinking of using the bone shield, the bone helm and a bone wand in another set :)

:) sweet. So now we have Two possible set ideas, PLUS new set of armor. The rate this mod is going the armor isnt that far off. Once the weapons and amulets are out of the way.

hehe it wont and if it does, i will slow down. At the moment i am checking every item, script, spell and enchantment that version 4 adds, just incase i missed anything the first time round. PLUS i need people to download and play the mod :angel: hehehe.

But seriously, i will work at a reasonable pace.
