Righty-o the rings are done, iamjust testing them in game. Expect a release at some point today.

Hey guys,

just wondering would it be usful to create a xcel file showing/listing the new items? Kinda like a list of the items and what they do?

actually Im more interested in the types of enchantments and what they do...but a list of anythign is nice enough...

hey guys

sorry havnt given much progress on this, but been moving back home from uni as term is over. Woop second eyar done :D - only 1 year left.

anyway,

In short i messed up the script. I tried adding in the ability for unique items, but somewhere along the line i messed it up. So, what I am doing is releasing 20 Rings which i will update adding more and more. I am doing it this way to prevent any problems. As i found with the swords when i had 60+ possible swords it took a while to weed out any problems. So this way, it will be easier and faster for me to test the mod :)

oh i also have plans for set items ;)

slowly being updated. I had taken a break from modding but now i am starting to get the itch for it again.

as of now, if you just want to fully test the swords that would be great! Let me know of anything thats wrong, improvements, spelling of names, enchantments, balancing issuies ect....

Also i need to re-write the readme and the introduction at PES, as it just refers to swords. Once other items come in its needs a more general readme/discription

:) thanks, you should hit them fairly early on as they are in loads of levlled lists. Did you use a levelled list merger?

Also, i am setting up a blog for myself, so once its up and running you should check it or this thread for updates.

oh and if theres any errors/bugs let me know about those too lol.

Basically all i have been doing is re-doing the rings and have a nice balanced 65 Enchantments which will be released sometime this week (more testing needs doing)

and on my end i have a small report of my own...

I've been testing your mod while playing my game to make my guy a lich and after finding 4 shortswords (which i didnt find below lvl 20 because i used a ring of level playing...) I went and got the scrolls from the mage in ald-ruhn and was able to identify 3/4 swords before my game crashed. now whether the crash was because of your mod or another mod idk but it crashed while i was tryin to ID the 4th shortsword.

played yesterday and found 2 shortswords but because of my location and what i was doing only able to ID one.

I'll keep playin it and legt you know about any more rogue crashes while using the ID system...

Try Identifying 4 swords in a row, using the same method. See if that causes a crash.

One idea springs to mind - If your a liche are you using any of the liche mods or is it a custom mod? it maybe that there was too many scripts at once?

well when i tried it the first time, i hadnt done any lich quests yet...that was only with yesterdays stuff...

but regardless ill try again with 4 sword sand scrolls.

my warnigns wont say anything since i got a CTD from the first crash and it will prolyl do the same again...

currently im using Lichcraft 2 and Illuminated Order...I'm almost a lich so no real effects from it yet...

Version 2 is now up for download.

Its a major content update adding a new item to identify- 64 possible rings.

That makes Shortswords and Rings now, keep your eyes out for further updates.

Aight I tried it again the other day and this is what i found out.

When you have one or two shortswords in your inv and u id them all, there occasionally will still be an "false entry" left over that makes it look like you didnt get them all. if you try to id that "fe" then you ctd. also both times this happened was after i bought out the mage in ald-ruhn and bought another scroll or two again immediately after.

hmmm, that is odd, because theres nothing in the scripts that would leave a false entry, as the sword is removed before its identified, also it doesnt put any unidentified back. IT may be that you can only identify one at a time. i.e identify a sword - leave your inventory. Open inventory and then identify another. Repeat.

If this is the case, i will put a mention of it in the Readme.

Oh and also, version 2.1 will be uploaded as quick as possible - I ermmmm forgot to place the Rings in levelled lists, so there not avalible in game at the moment lol. When i was testing i was using the console to place them in game. :embarrass:

idk im not sure either but i guess I can give that a try...but im too busy being pissed off at my lichcraft 2 save because i cant get any human followers...and i want a lair...:(
