Diablo 2: LOD

I found a Zerker last night with a +20 ias mod. No sockets, tho. :(

Should I cube it, or have Larzuk socket it? Is it worth it?

Edit: Nevermind. It seems I was misinformed. I thought you could make a runeword out of an item with a mod, and the mod would stack (i.e. +20ias zerker with BotD = +80ias). You can't make a runeword out of a magic item (an item with mods). Damn.

So I finally found my damn cd. I figured I'd make an offer to play if anyone is interested.
I will give you a heads-up though:

-I have tolerable to rather bad lag.
-I tend to take the levels a little slower than most people on battle.net
-If I don't open a door, it's because doors hate me in that game. The simple act of opening a door has a chance of crashing my game.

With that in mind, let me know if anyone is interested. I'm on useast ladder(I just clicked ladder. I'm not actually trying for anything on it.) Let me know what level character you plan on playing and if I have something near that level I'll play.

If I find anything I'll try and hold onto it for you or grab anything I can.

Dont get why people complain about Hdins in PvP, they are annoying in PVM because they take all the fun away from it. But in PvP? Easy prey. I used to take them down all the time with my assassin. Simple case of lock on them, as soon as they stop to spin you throw a trap down and mind blast them, they get stun locked, then you teleport in and spint around them (Whirl wind) and they stay stunlocked and get trampled by poison :P

I love assassins. Awesome characters.

Diablo2 still got the problems with the [censored] tarded bot spammers? If so I strongly doubt i'll be coming back.

Yeah, they still have spam bots.

Guber leveling ftw.

I met this guy through d2jsp and he bots gubers, when I set up his guber I Get free leech while the guber is up. Stuck a character in there at level 83 a few hours ago and now I'm almost level 92, I'm the only leecher in the guber, no anni or ondals :coolvaultboy:

Hammerdins are only easy prey if you can stunlock em. Otherwise you have no chance at all.
And the only times I have problems with bots is if I leave my game open.

Actually as a WWsin I do have a chance, considering that clawblock can also block magical attacks, which includes hammers. Plus theres a skill (Fade? I cantremember) that adds magical damage reduction aswell as resitances. I always used to get pulled into a game by friends if they had a hammerdin body camping and being bad mannered. Same deal for Auradins, made short work of them.

Infact the only class that was consistently difficult to beat was the WWbarb, i was basically his skinnier cousin and had to rely on alot of tricks to get him down. After that it was the trapsin, just a pain to get to. But other than those two the rest where easy as pie. Specially bone mancers. easy to catch, easy to dodge, easy to take down. But boy did they hurt if they got you.

WWbarb aren't that hard to kill. Especially if you specced into wind ultimate on a druid. Just cast the ultimate, and keep em in the hurricane armor. They die very very fast. Or if you happen to specialize in poison. It just takes a lot longer. Unfortunately these don't work on a hammerdin.

They really are until you stun one. Or build up your resistances enough to completely negate one.
And sadly no, I don't have what you're after.

They where hard to kill on my WWsin because of the amount of health they have and the WWsins lack of health, it was just a case of hoping you got the first hit on them then let the poison do the work. I think i was at nearly 30k poison damage all together, lots of poison charms.

Wind druids where never hard for me. Just keep them stunlocked with traps until their Tornado goes then teleport in and spin them. Or use Fury (the shuriuken things) and load them up with poison.

The whole reason I don't consider stun overpowered is simply because if you can see the stun coming, or never go towards the assassin, you won't get trapped.

Anyway, I think I may need someones assistance tomorrow. Sometime between 12 and 3. The maggot lair to be exact. I can never get through that area without my game crashing for opening a door. If anyone would like to help it'd be much appreciated.

You can see the stun coming with a bad assassin. A good assassin will wait until your within locking range then get a few mind blasts on and throw a trap down inbetween each one. Fire traps are best for stunlocking, higher ROF compared to the thunder traps.

Poisonsummon necro vs sin

alota minions to take damage from traps, poison damage, merc and golem auras.

If I leave this guber, switch chars, then come back, and I go in the guber, it will mess up the guber?

Mhm but Sin also has Blade Fury which stacks 30k poison damage per hit onto the minions. That just cuts through them like butter, thats the skill i used to kill minions with in uber trist, works a treat. Then theres the shadow thingy. Plus a poison sin with a heap of Poison jewels and charms? AND Fade? Poison resistances are through the roof.

EDIT: Also, Summoners arent allowed in PVP, not Necromancers with legions of summons any ways. Would just get ignored by every one.

If anyone is interested I have a ton of spare runes and gems I'm not using.
Also, thanks for sending that help my way bio. Just for the record, I logged off after I was helped simply because my ping was beginning to rise again. That normally means my ping will hover around 5000 for the next few hours and I didn't want to deal with that.

Save the runes and gems -- get three of the same time and transmute them to a higher tier -- a few perfect jems cans be used to purhase a highish rune, forget which. High Runes are pretty much the norm currency nowadays. Unless you use forum gold -- a system I loath.
