Diablo mage build?

So, i discovered that i can enchant items in a way that my spells don't cost mana anymore, every spell with 0 cost. Hmmmm, so would be smart to invest all level ups in health? (just as we do in Diablo II XD).

Any one care to discuss a mage level up build here? For example do that can stop the use of some awersome gears as arch mage robes, so it's a good idea, not worth the trough?

Unless you intend to use spells from only one or two schools then you still need to invest on magic. Archmage robes are not really worth it as you can enchant much better robes yourself.

?, i didn't get that, if i cumulate 4 items with mana cost reduction of 25%, with a total of 100% of mana cost reduction, only 1 or 2 schools get the proper benefit from that? Well, i didn't antecipate that TT, about the heavy armor/alteration chose, i see u have some experience with pure mages, what would you think to be the best chose among these 2 perks?

bump, plz more insight here :), by the way miltos thx for what u already answered. I found some ppl that posted the mana reduction don't reach all the spells but are fragmented by schools, like -25% mana cost to destruction spells, and not -25% mana cost to spells.
