No dialogue after overhaul

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 6:23 am

I don't know if anyone here has had this problem or not but any information would be appriciated. I added the morrowind overhaul collection and everything installed and started fine. The game runs well and theres no flashing or black screens or any other issues so far, except when I try to talk to a NPC, the only thing in the dialogue window is " Emil--Bloodmoon Greetings Above". The window is the right style of window, not like an error window or anything like that. It still has options to bribe, intimidate, and persuade, but thats it. Anyone else run into this before?

The overhaul shouldn't have installed anything that touches dialog. Can you post your load order? You can use Mlox or the Wrye Mash stand alone to do that. Your list is also at the bottom of your Morrowind.ini file, but that's an alphabetical list of the mods you have loaded and doesn't show with ones load first. Load order is important with Morrowind because if two mods change the same thing, the one that loads later (has a later date) has its changes implemented and any that load prior has theirs ignored.
