Dialogue delivery time and Papyrus Fragments

Post » Sat Nov 16, 2013 3:03 am

Is there a way to control how long it takes for an actor to deliver a line of dialogue containing no audio?

I have two problems: 1- My line of dialogue takes too much time on the screen.
That wouldn't be a problem in itself since I can click and skip it. But it's an issue due to problem number 2- The Papyrus Fragment attached to the end of the line won't fire until the allotted time for the line is over. Regardless if I skip it with my mouse or not.

The line is a an ending line. i.e the last line the actor says before ending the dialogue.

Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thank you.

You could try putting your fragment in the beginning of the dialog with a utility.wait(X) and see what happens. You may have to play with the timing.
