in two places now i have ran into a dialogue loop that won't let me continue doing the quest i am doing. In both joining the thevies guild and getting the ashkhan's slave wife to follow me. i click the proper option ("yes i want to join" or "travel with me") and the npcs respond like i said no and i lose disposition with them.

Any ways to fix this problem? ty in advance

The slave girl problem is caused by Morrowind Comes Alive. Thanks to Kateri for the fix:



The other is probably the same reason although it would be an idea to list your mods.

have you got TR installed? Tr is known to break the theives guild

To clarify that's the first released version of TR map 1. If you use the map 1 included in the Antediluvian Secrets (map 2) download that particular bug is squished. Antediluvian Secrets includes both map 2 and an updated map 1.

yep i use MCA and TR 1. seems that explains it. I'm using old TR 1 map b/c map 2 doesn't have any quests, i hear, and that sounds lame to me; however i guess ill d/l map 2 for the thieves guild fix.


can they be downloaded separately to fix the problem or do i need to get the combo-pack?

ok so i downloaded the TR 2 map and the loop is gone, but i still can't join thieves guild. Now the guild leaders say something about not being the type of person they looking for =( i can only guess its b/c i beat the main quest and thieves don't want to hang w/ the goodie-goodie Nervarine, lame
