I walked into diamond city and they killed this guy named kyle because they thought he was a synth now all the npcs are just gathered where his body is and won't go back to normal what do I do to resolve this issue?

Well, what solutions have you tried so far?


Leaving the city and returning will likely correct it.

Sleeping for a few hours might help too, so that their schedules have time to change.

I've done everything left the city returned, waited and slept for over 3 days game time. Pretty much everything I could think of besides restarting which is out of the question.

Make sure you have a new hard save.

Attack the NPC's and then load the hard save you created. I hope this might refresh it.

Do you have another game save before that event happened.
