Did buying the GOTY edition for Fallout 3 include the 1.7 patch?

Unfortunately not, for me, I had to download the patch and install it. Oh well.. doesn't take long.

No don't, most of the version of GOTY do include it. It was probably just the first few versions that didn't. Just be sure to check the loading screen to be sure before getting the patch. I've read posts where trying to patch the GOTY edition has caused problems for people.
