After Canada got annexed by US, did it get divided into commonwealths like the rest of the US is?

That is unknown. America only officially annexed Canada shortly before the Great War. So I doubt there was time to decide what happens to Canada. I would imagine they just treated it as territory.

I always thought of Canada and Mexico being just one commonwealth instead of being divided.
