True....very true and that's why I asked and mentioned discussing it.

@ Rick, that's fine, it's also probably the best setting anyway... DiD and points for quests...


I'd prefer if "Novice " setting is one of the rules. .. that way everyone is on an equal footing...what you find and use being up to luck and skill.

I have no strong feelings about it one way or the other. On Novice it's almost impossible to get killed in combat, if you have game experience. The only advantage of playing at a higher skill level is that combat skills (and thus character level) rise faster, so you can qualify for level-restricted quests a bit quicker.

Leveling can also be an advantage if you need to build a higher magicka pool, to cast certain spells (Bound Bow comes to mind as a spell that can be gotten early, but requires a decent magicka pool to cast.)

Vixi is still wearing Leather armor (just tempered to Fine), along with the Morokei mask. She has a fire-enchanted crossbow, Dawnbreaker, Azura's Star, and an amulet of Talos. The Masque of Clavicus Vile and the Wabbajack are at home in a chest. Her game is at 37 hours and 40 minutes.

She has just got full scaled gear.....no not the disgusting six helmet. She has a leather hat.....soon to be Elven

It's all coming up nicely now smithing is 51 sneak is massive.....magic stuff hasn't moved except enchanting which is her current focus. One handed was I think about 42 and light armour 46. Archery unperked is at 35. All level ups into health.


Having killed Mirmulnir the Blood Dragon......she now faces the prospect of Dragon attacks with zero built in fire resistance.....not good !

On the plus side she has Lakeview manor......perfect for The Contessa. No followers.....no healing spells used.....no health potions used!


So far I am so loving Adella......just being able to pop a helmet onto her with no Diva protestings is great......what a woman! Trouble is with her....I have to keep stopping to find a suitable place in good light where I can just spin the camera around and spend 3 or 4 minutes just looking at her face and melting to goo..... Adella

I have to confess (as you may have realised from my lack of activity here) that I haven't really played this character since my last post...so think I will officially withdraw, trying to smash through as many quests as possible in a time limit isn't really my thing I found.

sorry to loose you.... I'm not anywhere close to some of the others either. I tend to go at my own pace, so I haven't nearly the amount of quest's as others. To me it doesn't matter, I play just for the community.

Cause....well Dragon ( shock), Mammoth x 2, Giant, couple of wolves.... Bandit hideout close by...so nice battle, but he didn't get away fast enough when his health was down. He had just dropped Aura off at home and was heading to the Fort Dawnguard.

It caused me to have to step in and pump Adella with FOUR damn healing potions.


Feel so stupid now. Reached level 27 on Legendary with no healing other than natural rate, now taking four potions makes my progress feel cheap

Adella's development is stalled for now due to needing enchanting raised a lot, and having no cash for soul gems. We are not brave enough to get them from Dwarven machines yet! We have zero fire resistance except for potions. Feels like she is stuck in molasses now.....but this is classic for this part of the build growth....expected. Without enchanting we can't push alchemy or smithing enough and without these her AR remains an insufficient 250. It's ok...I know what I'm doing.....I'm just not as efficient at it as my sixy rival.


Clearly also now dragon threats are going to make travel risky. Current level 27. Sah will be close to double that.....Edit.....or maybe not!
