Thanks Kane. Poor Adella is getting a rough start. One of those rare times when just as the wolves attack her and Ralof on the way to the village...so three random spawn bandits from across the river become red dots and start shooting. One chased her into Riverwood so she helped to mace him down, but then accidentally caught stump a glancing blow (he's fine). Now the whole village hates her and she's not even spoken with Gerdur yet. It getting dark....the other bandits are still refusing to despawn and she's got nowhere to go....poor cow. That's Skyrim for ya!

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys :D

Adella found the bandits in the three strong camp south of the lake shore. Might have been trouble were it not for finding Talsgar and kinda getting him involved (troublemaker Adella). That gave her a bandit tent to kip in and her first armour....just furs (I never loot soldiers of either side for armour....honoured dead and all that!). In the morning and a few wolves later we made it to Falkreath, traded, run an errand and generally improved our lot. Took out the bandits at the ambush bridge and the other three strong bandit camp up near Helgen. Overnighted in the Deadman's the headed out early for Riverwood. Found the bandit sentry by Embershard and once in the village she found her minor dog bashing accident had been forgotten ( still had a five gold bounty for it though). Gerdur was nice...but totally forgot all about asking Adella to see Balgruuf.....but since she mentioned Whiterun we decided to go there anyway. The wolves at the top of the falls were no match for Adella's level 6 abilities and after aiding and chatting to the companions she got to the big city late afternoon. Did all the usual...see the boss, and his acerbic wizard...got in good with Arcadia and Adrianne.

By middas 20th, Adella is level 9 in Fine leather ( kinky cow) with a superior steel mace and fine imperial bow. Current vibe suggests she is gonna be ok with helmet wearing at least during battles ( thank goodness). I have not tested her attitude towards heavy armour as yet.

That's where we are folks :D

End of my play on day 1...

Mardig is Fast asleep after reporting back to Farkas that he has finished his first job... He is a bit peeved at his new Brother in arms. You would think they would send a new Whelp to get rid of some animal or maybe even a low-life bandit, but no Mardig's very first job with the Companions is to "Kill the leader of Shimmermist Cave"...Falmer... :swear: ...Farkas you P.I.T.A. ... He came out lvl 5 almost lvl 6...He chopped would for Hulda until he could afford some good health potions, some descent poisons ( to go with the spider venom) and worked on some of the farms to make some stew's. A bow of Fire, some soul gem's to re-fill it and make his Iron armor and Steel Sword ( fine).

Cheers, just a brief bit of play tonight...after escaping Helgen, Ellie headed onto Whiterun to warn the Jarl about the dragon attacks and completed a couple of misc. objectives (Amren, Ysolda). Currently stopped off in Rorikstead on my way to join the Legion. Close to level 4!

Thank you for the happy birthday Sah

:thanks:

Nah nah nah nah......you're not in Markarth to get the thugs killed by forsworn......that's just a bonus.

I know why you are there......apart from nicking silver to make smithing boosting jewellery......you are after Dwarven metals. Well, I Thought the same, but I have other fish to fry first......meaning getting my favourite shout.....MfD

Video.....An inspired concept Sah....promoting the DiD forum to outside agencies. This is good!

The imperial captain looked very fetching.......I couldn't decide whether to kill her or just take her out to dinner :woot: Hmm dinner I think! :)

I just had a warning from the guards in Riverwood " we have to do something about these vampire attacks"....it was already night time.....so I knew the attack was imminent...or it would occur in the morning as soon as I left the inn. So, instead, I ran on to Falkreath which messed up the programme's intended attack and saved the residents from a death or two.

Sah, these may sound cliché, but:

"Many fall, one remains"

"Through all the politics and promises, there is only one lord - death"

"A bloodied sword is more beautiful than a thousand naked virgins"

"Death is not a question of when, but of how and what for"

"Weep not for the dead, they don't for you"

"The last one standing lives to die another day"
