Well I am very disappointed for Adella. She must be a huge amount less popular than I thought.....


The competition was over 4 days ago....


Not one person has said sorry to see she was slain.

Not one person has said they will miss her not being in forum.


Despite winning the round and achieving more kills than anyone else with a score a clear 15% infront of her nearest rival....Not one person has said "well done" or "congratulations" to her


Even the one other, similar 'persona', who wanted so much to be her friend.....


She will always be grateful to Areial

But

The ENTIRE community has turned their backs to Adella. She is alone except for Rick...the one person who loves her.

She feels betrayed and embarassed to show her face again

#1.. If you never get to "Season Unending" you never get the "kill Parthy" order..ie you just don't go that far into the MQ.. Only right after Alduin's Wall... then you can bring recruit's to Delphine.

#2.. one follower would be permitted outside the Blades...but then only 2 Blades.

For dragons, I did a game where I had next to no dragons period because I didn't use fast travel or carriages.


I had to fast travel to my current location to trigger one, and eventually they started showing up regularly.

Ok so I'm getting confused. If it is just dragon killing, like Sakiri said, wouldn't that be a dice roll as to whether you get dragons or not? We can't fast travel, etc to trigger them. Those with good luck get more dragons? Or am I totally just not getting it because it's been a long week?

Not exactly. ..no, the random attacks are on a spawn timer. Sleep at night, carriage rides... both use up the same time it would take otherwise,as if you walked or did something instead of sleep . You can go to word walls on your own.


That is of course if you don't want to use the MQ to get dragon slaying jobs from Esbern. ...or do all those things.

Not a problem. .. I'm used to Deadly Dragons and a quicker spawn time (mcm menu) ...hmmm gonna have to find a retex only...I love D.D., but having a dragon use ice or fire storm at lvl 1 really would bite for a DiD play through.

I'll have to see.


I head to Stockholm tomorrow, my flight leaves Weds morning. This is going to be the most painful departure yet.


Then I get in, get off the plane, get in the Tacoma and drive 15 hours to Phoenix, where I transfer to a friend's van for a 28 hour drive to Chicago.


After that, Sunday I have a 7 hour drive to mom's house and then, only *then*, can I do a DiD.


Really want to get into another one of these.

LoL, after all that I might wanna sleep for a couple days straight!

Sorry, Rick. I can't speak for others, but I have hardly looked at this forum for several days; my attention has been on Haven.

Congratulations on the win. As for the "slain" part, I'm not sure how that applies to Adella, but I think that everybody here is going to stick by you and Adella, wherever the two of you go from here, as regards DiD.

Eh, sorry, Rick and Adella. I'm not much on this forum any more.

I am deeply sorry that I did not at the very least Congradulate Adella and you for a Brilliant win.

I never considered Adella "dead"...temporarily with out an "overcoat"... but never dead.

I will voice no excuse... all I can say is that I am sorry to have not thought of the feelings of my friends.

Her soul lives in me as all our characters live in us......but yes, a death in Competition....the loss of an Overcoat, is just as painful and loss making as for any character.


It is only correct that Round thirteen matters are concluded here. It would not be good to split competition business across forums.


I hope BA does pick up on the right and proper thing to do here as per Post #30. No matter who won, it should be acknowledged formally, AND hopefully in some well deserving style. No competition end should ever be left hanging to die as a damp squib.


I have in the past, been the last person still on the track, when the lights have been turned out and the last bord spectator has gone home. My temperament copes with that, but this is Adella's very own win and she copes with being overlooked about as well as Sah

I am truly sorry friends Rick and Adella!

Not an excuse but in an attempt to explain, I don't see Adella's choice of color well on these boards. I use the white theme so the gold is particularly hard to read. Once I catch up with a thread I have to intentionally go back and highlight Adella's conversations so I can read them. I failed to do that the last time I was here so I apologize for my oversight. However I do wish to point out there are times when The Contessa is too busy to respond as well . Like right http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1603270-did-competition-round-xviii-bandit-genocide/?p=25165470 where I told her she was absolutely enchanting and never received a response back. So sometimes I assume she's just not talking to me and move on! Apologies again! (((( hugs ))))

Freewitch......Oh she noticed the 'enchanting' comment at the time allright...believe me, she never misses that kind of attention. I feel her positivity glow and yes, perhaps she was distracted (there were a lot of banterings going on then), but then she doesn't expect all her rhetorical banters to be responded to either!


Next time (whenever that may be) she is 'at large', I am sure she will make good on that hon, she wouldn't want to upset anyone saying nice things to swell her already over sized ego (yeah, I'll get a slap for that one too).


There may come a day, when she no longer needs me alongside her in forum, and Adella will be present and able to chat with you all the time, and I will be gone. I will be proud of that day.


But it is not yet and she has still much growing to do

I’m afraid that Adella’s choice of yellow text like Sah’s choice of pink text is not visible when I read on my mobile devices, which is most of the time.

Which is why posts #24 and #30 were from me......in normal text colour
