I created this thread as a place for those of us who are playing in the DiD competition to post vids of our escapades. Naturally, comments from anybody whether in the competition or not are entirely welcome.

My first contribution to this madness is a brief run through the Helgen tutorial, and an encounter with wolves just after exiting the cave. Personally, I found the last three or four minutes to be... exciting, eh?

Wow Neil, you sure had your hands full there. I see you are using a 'real' bow! I thought only bound and magical weapons were allowed this round......maybe I could have got us a nice dagger.

I had to laugh at the guard Captain......you've clearly got a high heels mod in there ( which is very nice) as she sashayed so elegantly in those big armoured imperial boots.

I love your richer environment with all the long grass, looks good. Maybe all that, with other mods is why it takes so much data to record. Normal digital camcorder video is about 16Gb/Hr if memory serves. Clearly the PC works differently.

I look forward to seeing more when I not gaming flat out just to keep up with Sah!

Thanks Sah! I know that switching back and forth from 1st to third actually bothers some people, but that's just the way I play. I'm more concerned with just playing the game than with recording style, eh? I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@ Rick. I made it a point to check with MrBA regarding bows, because it has always been my intention to use a Bound Bow and Bound sword. It's a bit of a trade off, because I use very little destruction magic and don't foresee gaining much skill leveling at destruction. As it is, I've use the "real" bow a bare minimum, with the result that Nevil is more or less defenseless initially. Anyway, you'll see what I mean when I get the rest of the recorded stuff edited into viewing form.

As to gaming flat out, well, you know me. I'm in it for the fun, and if I don't enjoy it I don't do it. I think you'll see some outrageous stuff along the way with Nevil...

The second part, which I so cleverly named part 2, is just a quick trip to the Shrine of Talos, and a stop for a visit on the way back at Embershard Mine.
