Yes, Max was the villain in Minority Report. Very good movie and he's a very good actor. I'm not convinced it's him though. Too much of the rhotic 'R'. Sounds similar. Christopher Lee??? Never, he has a proper Brit accent. Not like Max's American influenced one.

I know this actor, Max von Sydow, from a movie that I can't get out of my head. It is Steven King's Needful Things. It wasn't an excellent movie, but his performance left a haunting impression.

Fairly certain that I saw it confirmed as Max. I recognized his voice immediately. Needful Things: Great job, not a good movie though, I agree.

Even though he's done a couple of junk movies like "Flash Gordon", he's a highly respected Swedish actor known for his roles in Bergman movies and in "The Greatest Story Ever Told".

And the Viking/Barbarian King in Conan the Barbarian if not wrong ....

Yeah the narration on the announcement trailer was fantastic, the whole trailer was great.

He was also great in Shutter Island

His performance in that trailer is extremely good. I do hope he gets a major voiceover role in the game too, and that Bethesda don't waste a load of cash on a so-called bigger name.

It is most definitely Max von Sydow.

I am sure that he will get a major role in TESV.

Who's Max von Sydow? He sounds like some sort of comic book villain.

'Cuz I'm to lazy to search google.

He was Jesus(Greatest Story Ever Told) and the Exorcist(The Exorcist).

For a cheesy, but awesome roll he was the father of the princess in Conan the Barbarian!

He has a killer voice! And I instantly recognized him in the trailer!
