So, I loaded my game and I started walking north to get some new locations for my game. And suddenly there are 3 blips on my compass, a rad scorpion, a bee thing... and a Mister Gutsy, they all attacked me, I got out of it sure. And I keep walking, and then there are 5 raiders.... Is everyone out to get me our something :gun: :ahhh: < -- Which is basically what I was doing to keep the Mister Gutsy from hitting me, Plasma Rifles.... Not reliable.

yeh....i had similar occurances when iwas attacked by 2 death claws and 3 super Mutants , i survived for approximately 5 seconds.....

By the time you reach level 30 you will be jumped many times by radscorpion families. Usually a couple of Albinos, a Giant and maybe one or two small ones. All at once.

The random encounter point (follow the road) to the east of Fort Independence is a common place for this, especially if you want to see an Enclave vs radscorpion war. The radscorprions always win.

Sometimes an enemy spawn point is close or on top of your fast travel point, NB never fast travel to the deathclaw sanctuary. It's also an spawn point for deathclaws and it's an enclave guard post within shooting distance who also respawn.
You also have lots of roaming groups who fight other groups both roaming and bases.

You can run into the same moving around, worse as you can have slower melee enemies following you without knowing it, so then you bump into an enclave patrol and stop to fight the radscorpions attack you from behind.

Yes that's happened to me before.
