Did Leprechaun Origins Rip Off The Falmer? (Spoilers)

Post » Thu Sep 11, 2014 8:08 am

OK last night I saw Leprechaun Origins and during my aftermath thoughts was thinking they made the Leprechaun looke just like The Rake, but upon looking at the ears some more...I realized why it was familar, not because he was The Rake but...I think they made the Leprechaun into a Falmer...just look.

Um let me try to find a better pic...OK it's still too new but if you want search the film online or any review of it, I swear the Leprechaun even stands like a Falmer. I hope this is the right place to post this and if anyone can post a better screeshot do so, I swear they made him into a Falmer.

Not really. If you want to say 'who stole from who', then Bethesda blatantly ripped off the Lord of the Rings goblins.

It's just a VERY generic fantasy build.

I agree. Tolkien made fantasy as we know it. It set the inspiration for what much of fantasy uses today. Great point. :)

I get you, brother. Tolkein's so awesome it's hard not to celebrate all the greatness he's done for the fantasy genre. :)
