So i decided to do the main quest story line which involved going to the SW of the map to talk to a former Institute doctor (i forget the names sorry)

As im running in the glowing sea area- i see a settlement of atom worshippers- some of them are named- the settlement gets attacked by a bunch of radiscorpions (that were chasing me) - and a couple of the named NPC's got killed pretty quickly - one of them had an iteam on her that showed me the Institute doc's true location (which was further SW)

My question is did i miss out on any quests from those NPC's that bit the dust? and if so - is there any way i can still do them? thanks
