Its not so much the repair feature, it was hard finding the same kind of power armor to repair instead of having to take it to a vendor constantly to repair. Like that set of T-51B armor.

I was really thankful in Fallout 3 for Operation: Anchorage with the Winterized Power Armor that didn't damage or degrade. So it saved me a lot of trouble with the repair feature.

But I'm really really hoping they don't add it in other games.

If they do, I'm hoping they will give more perks to make it more useful instead of needing the same equipment to repair with. It'd be cool if they made the repair features the same way they did in Oblivion. But its always using the same item to repair with the other.

Now they did have jury rigging in NV, but that only went so far.
