No, I had them on the Xbox 360 long before the 1.9 patch, the Dragonborn DLC was the point at which my game attempted to self destruct. Lag, stuttering, areas not fully loading, endless loading screens and a lot of freezing. It was easy enough to temporarily fix, by clearing the system cache, deleting everything and starting fresh (game, patch and then DLC), but a permanent fix to the problem would be nice.
Only two of my characters had trouble when the Dragonborn DLC was added, my original character (over 1300hrs) with a save file of 19mb and newer but still long played (over 600hrs) character with the extensive journal list of things to do and a 15mb save file when Dragonborn was started. The third character started with the 1.6 patch had no trouble, other than the one he was created with, game ran just fine with him, he was only a lowly character of 65 hours with a measly 7mb save file. The 1.9 patch has actually extended the time it takes now for the game to need a spring clean, that and dropping a journal I got stuck with is the only benefit I have seen to the patch. My second character who never had self spawning dragons now has them all over the place, I preferred not having them. My original character who had only just managed to get rid of all his dragon problems, now has them back again even worse than before, he cannot even visit walled towns now in safety. And a few other things went wrong for my original character.
I have already had to do a spring clean twice since the 1.9 patch.
My PS3 character has had no trouble, with anything, she was a Christmas 2012 baby started under the 1.7 patch, has Hearthfire and Dragonborn (Dawnguard is on hold) and nothing has broken, even with the new patch. But again she is a lowly level 23 character of only 54hrs with a 6Mb save file. I expect to get a lot of playtime before she has trouble.
