DiD + Roleplaying = Combo?

Hey Guys,

Finished my Oblivion Burn-Out (Finally)... hold on, don't like all the capital letters going on here...

Anyway, I was thinking about starting fresh. New Character, see where the road takes me. Like most people do when they roleplay.

However, I was thinking adding in the DiD idea behind it (dead-is-dead). I'm playing with OOO at the same time, so i'm going to have minotaurs come at me from level 1.

Do you guys think you could properly roleplay and get really into a character with DiD? Or would your roleplay be affected.

Also looking for ideas for my next roleplay :P Give me your stories nomnomnom

Thanks!

Undeaddragon.

I do not see how DID will affect you in nyway. Maybe shorten the RP but other than that, I think it enhances the RP. You have to be smart and sometimes run from a fight in order to survive. More realistic imo

Oh, I don't see why not, I am running my first Dead is Dead character, and she is also a roleplaying character. Lots of fun so far. Depending on your RP style, you might get attached to them somewhat, so their death will impact you, even if just a tiny bit. Also, Dead is dead teaches you to avoid fights you think you can lose. And the importance of supplies, at least in my experience thus far. Definitely give it a shot is my advice.

I play DiD on one character. He's still alive at level 15. And, it's all about RP for me at this stage of the game: that is, I've played the game since 2007, and DiD or a very strict RP, is the only way I will roll anymore.

Very Strict? Give me examples of how you'd class it as strict.
