Ecian.....well that was the most progress I have ever seen in just one straight hour! It took me about Eight hours to get that far.


However, now I do appreciate that it was just a fun blast through, BUT by failing to properly get to grips with the rules, (which as

I said before were published at page one) and by not picking up on a few things said in forum......you actually made it MUCH harder for yourself.


One......daggers were all over the place in Helgen....

I am very glad you enjoyed it and your video was amusing, BUT it kinda came across like the DiD competition was a badly thought out concept with poorly explained rules, which is not the case!


We have until this Wednesday......I urge you to press on with it, and if there is something you don't get I will do my best to make it clear for you. Do go to page one of the first thread of this round and check out the rules. Write the rules as bullet points on paper and keep it to hand. Use bows, use magic, use daggers. You can smith and enchant and do alchemy, but only alchemy of those three can be perked ok.


You can also perk, one handed and light armour, sneak and archery. All other skills can be used, but not perked ok.


Have fun...but please give the competition and yourself a fair chance......stay on Legendary if you have the Cajones

Sorry about not understanding all of the rules in full. As long as I did not break any rules I am happy.

The video was the only time I could play and record. Those 54 minutes were all I had until Monday morning. So it was either go ahead and give it a shot or not try at all.

Besides, Jack Domino doesn't need bows or magic. He's Jack Domino. *flex*

Please do not be disheartened if you find during the quests that poor ol' Jack feels a bit 'underpowered' on Legendary! It might still be possible to make progress, but my friend there is a reason it took me Eight hours to become ready to begin the quests!


I will enjoy your video account and watch with great anticipation how you choose to tackle each objective.

Ok then......this is butt clenching stuff! I am about to take Adella into the old Sanctuary. Had a very bad feeling about this, so.......


I just took an old save from Adella's first competition into Dawnstar Sanctuary At level 56. The cure for Madness....Then down rated her gear to approx what my current Adella likeness has to use. AR 219


Results were bad to awful. Even a bow of 86 (and her current bow is only 35) with dragonbone arrows was rubbish doing maybe 7% damage on the spirit gits! There was nowhere they couldn't reach her! And hardly anywhere to hide.


Sneaking even with Sneak 100 was only partly successful with close approaches in the narrow tunnels easily showing her up. Sneaking invisible was most successful of course, but there was still a risk of actual contact leading to instant discovery. The bad boss at the end was easier than the damn ghosts.


For my real attempt I am tempted to forfeit 200 points to do bleakfalls and dragon rising so I can activate a shout (My favs MfD or BE).


Anyone else got past this god awful mission?

Eggsellently done! I tried to tell you to go back, go back, loot the bodies, but you zipped out of Helgen quite admirably! Looking forward to the Further Adventures of Jack Domino!

Yeah, I think maybe Jack Domino set a new Helgen speed-run record. Jack would do well in the "Naked Nord" cross-country competitions.
