Did Skyrim make your top 5? : V - Skyrim

It must have since I only own ten games.

F1 2012 holds the top position right now.

Nothing bethesda makes will hold the top position until they make rain puddle and run down the streets and not pass through walls. At least the buildings cast shadows now.

You ask for the impossible by today's graphic standards. and its sad that more and more people praise a game by how good it looks compared to how well it plays.

Definitely. It's miles beyond Oblivion. Two Beth games are now in my top 5, so I'd say they are pushing the right buttons.

After mods, Skyrim will without a doubt be number 2. (Number 1 can never be unseated!)

It's in my top three.

There used to be two games, and I couldn't figure out which one was #1, but whichever was, the other was #2. One was the original "Deus Ex", and the other was "Planescape: Torment".

Now I've got three games in that set.

(Oblivion and Morrowwind don't even come close, primarily because of the whole "efficient leveling" problem. The game mechanics wouldn't get out of my way enough to let me really enjoy the game. That's not an issue with Skyrim for me. Fallout 3, on the other hand, comes close.)

Hell i was so bored (at work, not playing Skyrim) that i tried to make this. Even tough its just so impossible to pick just 10. Putting them in order is even harder.
1. Final Fantasy 7
2. HoMM3
3. Ocarina of Time
4. Civ 4
5. Baldur's Gate 2
6. Final Fantasy Tactics
7. Final Fantasy X
8. Monkey Island 3
9. Fallout New Vegas
10. WH40K Dawn of War 2

Almost made it: Master of Orion 2, Icewind Dale, WoW(vanilla), Alpha Centauri, Baldur's Gate. Will probably change my mind about the order in 5mins. Only the number one is clear.
Skyrim has the potential to get there. Will just have to play some more and see what we get next.

I'm on the PS3....no obviously no. If it actually worked, then yeah. It would probably be top 1 or 2 of all time if it wasn't still in alpha mode.

-Fallout: New Vegas

So no, Skyrim doesn't make my top 5, but it has some serious competition there. I'm thinking that once I start playing Arkham City properly I'll probably want to put that on my top 5 somewhere.. I have no idea what I'll push off for it though; maybe it'll have to settle in my top ten

2 - Skyrim/Morrowind
3 - Kingdom Hearts (One of my first games, weirdly enough)
4 - Baldur's gate II Throne of Baal
5 - Pokemon Gold (maybe blue) eddition.
5 - Final Fantasy X
6 - Golden Sun (Nostalgia as well)
And lots of other shi tty games for nostalgia purposes... Jack and Daxter, Halo, RTSs (Those are actually kind of similar one to another, but SC, Age of Empires and even that kind of entertaining "Battle for Middle Earth").

Morrowind, Skyrim, Oblivion (with loads of mods), Dragon Age and Mass Effect are probably my current top 5. Knights of the old Republic and Baldur's Gate 2 should also be somewhere in between (oh, and Planescape Torment, Fallout 1- 3 ...).

The funny thing for me is, I had a hard time deciding and remembering..
Now that I see peoples lists I go "Hmmm.. yeah that one was cool too.. ah yeah totally forgot that one"

So as an afterthought. Neverwinter Nights 1. By Thors hairy nutsack that one got played way too much.

I'm surprise there aren't many Fable 1s...
Sure, Fable III was complete [censored] and shouldn't even be mentioned ever again (*slaps self for mentioning*), but man, Fable 1 was memorably amazing.
(well, i was 10 and it was my first RPG so i guess any RPG eould be amazingly memorable back then)

*** Oh, and some of you people don't understand the concept of "top 5" and "top 5 GAMES" lol. It's not top 50 game series. :facepalm: ***
