So you all played Skyrim for some time now, did it make it into your top 5 games list? Why/Why not? What is your top 5?
1.Command and Conquer:Tiberium dawn 2.Command and Conquer:Red alert 3.Command and Conquer:Tiberium sun 4.Command and Conquer:Generals 5.Command and Conquer:Kane's wrath
Hell yeah it did! I am woeful at the, as it's been called, certain demise of the PS3 copy once hitting certain save file sizes. However, this has got to be THE best game I have EVER played in my life. I've never been so hooked on a game and its mythos like I am with Skyrim. Plus.. DRAGONS!
I understood the Questions as: At the time you played them because I only played like 5 games in the last 2 years so most of them would be my Top 5 due to most of the others beeing outdated 1: Rome TW 2: Baldurs Gate 2 3: Dragon Age Origins 4: Napoleon TW 5: Fallout 3

Of all time? I can never answer that. Filtering out nostalgia is just too hard. And then you have to figure out what might be nostalgia, what might just be changing tastes. And nostalgia versus novelty. I loved a game greater than any game I've loved before. But I can't play it now. Is it because I played it too much, the systems are too dated, or my tastes have changed? Should that matter? Woe be to my complex decision making processes.
I'm generally not one to rank things. I'm not really sure what I would put into my top five. After putting a lot of hours into Skyrim, though, I feel I can safely say that no, Skyrim would not be one of them. It's a good game and I've enjoyed it so far and will enjoy more once mods start getting released. However, it has some problems that keep it out of the top five for me. And mods won't put it there. If it can't reach the top five without user modification, it has no business being there.
mods made oblivion a great game so i expect that mods will make skyrim a fantastic game. after a few months i expect that skryim will be on that list. also i have burn out right now so im only playing skyrim a couple of hours a week at this point.
