Update: Game update for PlayStation 3 could be going up as early as Midnight GMT tonight for Europe. When we have more details on North America, we'll let you know.

Just woke up and threw myself on the ps3 (after I did my morning coffee ofc!) to see if the patch was in... Time is now 10:02 CET, way past midnight GMT...

The patch hasn't gone live yet in Europe.

I held off buying this much anticipated game to wait for patches, and i decided i'm getting it after this patch .
i have been at the edge of my seat since they submitted the thing . if EU gets it first i'm getting an EU copy . i don't care, a nearby local store has both EU and NA versions .

I didn't answer his question because I'm not in Europe so I can't say, however you quoted information he clearly already knew and said nothing of your own. My post was meant to correct YOU. In the event your in Europe and simply didn't fully read his post before responding.

Now seeing as how no one is on the forums talking about the changes the patch brings, and the wikia isn't being flooded with edits. Its safe to say no.

Don't you just love it when they try to justify themselves? People and their egos...

Even though this is an 18+ game, after seeing some threads and people's posts I start questioning how old they really are.

Anyways I'm wondering since the patch is going out in Europe first, are they a European company?

Bethesda and Obsidian are american, Sony is japanese. But Europe is a pretty large market, USA is bigger than any single market, but the whole Europe is bigger, not sure if that is relevant to the patch release schedule, though :shrug:

Well the patch wasn't released in Europe, so as of now, nobody got it before anybody else. The only reason why it would go live
in Europe first is if Sony Europe did the certification first.

Sony told us midnight on Thursday, so we figured, you know...midnight on Thursday. It's actually 12:00 AM Friday, which is tonight.

Look for it soon.

Well It's currently 12:21 am in london. Has the patch become available yet? If so, would anyone care to keep us updated about any noticeable improvements the patch might have brought about. Also, I'd be interested in knowing the size of the update.

Just downloaded the patch. It's 20MB, not sure whether the size is relevant, but it's only 1MB bigger than the last patch. I'm starting this game from scratch (for the third time!) so it will probably be a couple of hours until I notice any real differences.

Well I'm off to bed now, I just stayed up to see if the patch would be available at midnight, so I won't get to play properly until tomorrow evening. I'm sure there are others that will be playing with the new patch that will report back before then though.

We don't know for sure that it went live in Europe.
All that we know is that is was estimated to go live.

As of right now when I'm writing this, it is: 1:59:50 A.M.

It just went live.
Pervect made a post, I fired up my PS3 and 1.02 downloaded.
I'm off to do some testing.
