So I have some friends who refuse to play anything other than big brutish 2 handed wielding Nords but personally I like Bosmer (mainly for the bone armor). So for months now the plan for me was my main Bosmer would be played solo and I would try to meet a good guild in the AD, then I would play an ALT with my buddies when they were on. Now that the faction lock has been lifted for us they will now be able to play their Nords in the AD with me!

Has anyone else decided to change their alliance or change their race and bring it to their chosen alliance now that they can choose to get around the faction lock?

I believe that you need to have a pre order to be able to play anywhere, reading it again that is what it seems to say, doesnt have to be the imperial just a pre order but could be wrong. No it hasnt changed my mind but it has made me happier, i can now play the race i really wanted to in the area that i am most comfortable in. So yes i am happy with it.
