Well, you didn't really specify anything, so my answer will have to be...

No.

Just some stuff like the inclusion of perks and speech options. I do not see enough to muck up Skyrim into a fantasy-type Fallout game.

Taint!? If certain things carried over to Skyrim from Fallout I would hardly define it as a taint

Actually now that you bring up guns I think it would be safe to say carrying over weapons from fallout to Skyrim would be considered a huge taint lol

Yeah, cause Fallout was the first RPG ever to use perks or that word.

Skyrim was made better by everything Bethesda learned on Fallout 3. The design of dungeons and locations to tell a story, the use of children for drama and emotion, a better way of handling level scaling and still letting the player roam the world, and yes, perks. A way to force players to differentiate all their characters from each other and allow tangible large benefits from focusing on some skills over others.

Fallout is just a setting. Good game design is good game design, and you should be grateful Bethesda had Fallout to practice on and refine their game designs with before bringing back all the lessons learned to Skyrim.

Thats all here say, and they way they do children in these games bites, they should just not include them. No one deserves a free ticket because of age.

Guys, we have GOT to learn to stop saying the word 'taint.' That word has two meanings and while the first is just okay, the second meaning is the reason the dialogue from the Dragon Age series felt like an inside joke.

Do you have any common sense? If they didn't make kids immortal think of the outcry. You'd have "Video Game Allows Child Murder" on CNN. Nancy Grace would be screaming for blood, and a dozen politicians wanting an election year issue would be trying to get the "children's murder simulator" banned. Is it fair and sane? No. But video games tread on a razor's edge in our society a lot of times as is, they don't need to go making a name for themselves as "that game you can murder kids in."

That’s just it you should not have to choose , your attributes, your skills was all you needed, I know in Oblivion you gained a stupid attack or two when you became a master of a skill but that’s it. So is this how they did it now in place of the oblivion skills like apprentice, master ect.? Those Oblivion attacks were dam near useless, you depended on your attributes and weapons if you was melee, if you was a mage then you had your own spells YOU CREATED.
