what if are player is actually a high ranking official? and signing for the vault was just code for signing the bomes?

I have a similar theory(s) to put forth: Almost everyone continues to title this guy as a "salesman" what if he is actually much further up the chain of command then we could ever possibly know at the beginning of the game? Or he could be an ancestor to Dr. Zimmer, I believe they use the same VA and to me, I can see a slight resemblance between the two, considering age discrepancies Etc.

Another theory would be that this "salesman" is actually in the know and that the Vault 111 core experiment is to be based around a sole survivor. Hence, any nervousness or shady-esque mannerisms would be because he knows the protagonists family will not make it alive, inside the vault or otherwise. We have no clue why the PC is the only surviving member of the vault 200 some odd years later. Was it by design? or was it some other freak accident? (obviously, outside of a vault the survival rate plummets.) IDK, we could all be looking into this one character a little too deeply. I think it would be a nice twist if BGS did do something akin to the theories proposed in this thread.Time will tell.

The wiki has him as Caucasian, maybe his age has his eyes a bit smaller, due to squinting and sagging. But i hadn't ever considered him other than an old white dude.
