Almost every week I go to this diner to have breakfast with a friend and there's this waitress that I think is one of the most amazing girl I have ever seen... I always wanted to ask her out !

Today I had the balls to go see her and I told her that every time I come here I want to come introduce myself because your so beautiful, then I ask her out for a drink... but what does she say ?! Im a lisbian

I was speechless for a couple of seconds, then she smiled and said thanks for the compliment !

But im wondering, do girls do that to get rid of guys ?! Did it ever happen to you ?

Rule number 1: Don't overanolyze.

Some girls make excuses to get rid of guys, but it's rare and there's usually only 2 possible reasons for it: 1, you're a creep, 2 she is a [censored].
I'm 100% sure that she really appreciated the compliment. Girls do like being told that they are beautiful, especially when they know it comes from the heart.

Her being lisbian. Why would she lie about it?
It's happened to me once. Laugh it of, you gotta admit it's a little funny.

...what really kills me is that her boyfriend is the complete and total opposite of her. He's a loud, binge-drinking, tobacco chewing, weightlifting addict that doesn't hesitate to start a brawl whenever he feels like it. I just don't see any good qualities about him that stand out, and that's what annoys me.

Anyway, I guess I just need to accept the fact that she'll never feel the same way about me.

You know... when you think about it, jerks often have some very attractive qualities to them. Confidence, masculinity, protection and security, power, dominance etc. But they often also have some negative qualities to them. That's one reason why some girls chose to stay with their abusive boyfriends when logically they should just go away. Thing is, they're still attracted to him.
Good news is that anyone can learn to be confident and masculine etc. without being an abusive jerk.

Yeah its true, Ive know a lot of girls in my life who said ''the love of their life'' is an abuse [censored] who cheats on them...

3 things I have learned about girls :

-When your attracted to a girl, dont ignore her to try and show that you're not impressed nor interested, do the opposite, keep looking at her (from time to time, dont be creepy) and smile to her if you eyes cross, if she lingers on you after that, you should make a move
-DONT be serious all the time around girls, make jokes, be silly to show her that you're laid back and that you are someone she can have fun with....
-Dont be charming to the girl you like only, be charming to any women around her... women talk A LOT between themselves and you want to have a positive aura

And yes confidence is very important also like a lot of people said

You have to be careful not to make her jealous though. She might stop feeling special and go "Oh, he's like that to everyone."

think about this, why would she accept a compliment from a man if she "likes" girls? i think she just wanted to make it a civil no. or not, maybe she really does "like" girls. i don't know, never happened to me before as far as i can remember.

edit: i shouldn't be so quick to say she lied... that is just being judgmental. its not impossible that she "likes" girls.

I've been asked out by a guy in the past, it is flattering, I was admittedly slightly embarrassed at the time, but it is still a compliment.

This isn't good advice. If someone is being charming to everyone, it will be assumed that he's just like that and it's just his personality, not that he's interested. Women do talk, and you do want a "positive aura", but don't be confusing. It's confusing/makes you seem like a total dike if you're acting like you're interested in everyone. Be nice to her friends, but be more than just nice to her.

That happened to me once, but then she gave me a chance and I converted her to heterosixuality. Seriously, that is how good I am.

..desperate she was. Being blind as a bat and drunk didn't hurt matters either, btw.
Also, she was kinda ugly.. in that noticable way, what with her limp and all.... Still, it was a fun date, at McDonalds.. to bad I forgot my wallet, so she paid.. which was a good thing too, Christ the woman could eat.. it was like watching baby shamu during feeding time at seaworld.
