In 2016, a game called "Prey 2" will ship, but it will be from a different studio (Arkane), running on an different engine (Crytek), and will basically be a System Shock 2 spiritual successor rather than an open-world shooter. So there will be a "Prey" game but it will share nothing in common with what you've seen up to this point.

Does the moderator have a response to the claims that the game is "not exactly" in development?

An official statement from Bethesda would be nice!
