I understand, over here we swear all the time, both at school, at work and on tv. But your answer implies that the "heated debate" is indeed over swearing. Is that the case? People are getting worked up about Todd swearing?

I think that the OP was the only person to think that it was a debate.

Words are only offensive if you take offense at them, the sooner everyone just gets over the taboo associated with swearing the sooner people will stop using them to offend.

I hate it when people say this, you're obviously missing the big picture. If these words weren't taboo, there'd be no reason to say them. They would no longer carry the emotional impact that makes us want to use them, and eventually, we'd just find new curse words. Being offensive is the very point of their existence.

People are sad with low self-esteem. They will do anything, even the the smallest thing, they can to talk bad against someone greater than them. It gives them the illusion of feeling better. Really funny thread.
