Did we visit one of Sanguines realms in Skyrim? : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

So supposedly Sanguine has a "thousand" realms, in Skyrim we enter a portal and end up in the "Misty grove"

This is where are drinking "buddy" reveals his true idenity, Sanguine, so does anyone know if this "misty" grove is a realm of Oblivion?

Sanguine is supposedly in control of one hundred thousand realms, used mainly as pleasure pockets. In Skyrim, during the quest http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:A_Night_To_Remember, the Dragonborn visits Misty Grove, one of Sanguine's many realms. It appears as a mist-filled copse of trees crossed by burbling streams and walking paths with small stone bridges, lit by lanterns in an eternal early evening.

If it wasn't, he couldn't appear in his "true form" (dremoras svck).

Misty Grove is one of his realms. Actually, I love it, and would love to party there for all eternity.

Only if I get to dominate people with weapons and do what Bal . . . usually does. Then I would spend an eternity there. But chances are, Molag dominates each and every person regardless of their accomplishments. So either Hunting Grounds of Sanguine's Realm . . .

Indeed. Misty atmosphere and drinks must be the main thing for the Misty Grove, but I suppose the thousands of other pocket realms that Sanguine owns had at least some related to brothels and debauchery and endless six. After all, this is the guy we see holding a prosttute in his hand

I never said all wikis are bad, I said The Elder Scrolls Wiki is bad. What I cited is The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages, which has been a more trustworthy place since the very early days. It takes some things from TIL and uses lore found in game and in books, nothing by ear or monkey truth. IMO, I think of UESP as a "smaller" version of TIL. If you want more info and better detail, go to TIL.

Reread what I wrote. It was not in anyway saying it's punishment, but painful pleasure for those who become completely desensitized after many years of complete debauchery. Not even the Shivering Ilse's supply of Green Mote can do anything.

Damm it, Hellmouth just made as realise sanguine represents the entire sphere of pleasure, even the dark ones, so he's basically a nicer version of Slannesh...
Edit: I know daedra represent both good and evil of there sphere, I'm just angry a after life with sanguine will not just be all fun partying :biggrin:

I had to. Of course, I doubt Beth would really show that side, but this is Sanguine, the Prince of Debauchery. To think these elements do not exist would make him too soft.
