Did you know...

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 1:20 am

I usually do this for Morrowin/Oblivon/Fallout 3/New Vegas, didn't see one for Skyrim, so I thought I would make one up.

This post is SPOILER FREE and to let us know things we can do but didn't know, like in Fallout New Vegas, you can keep drinking water by just holding the A button (xbox) continuosly.

For me, I will start it off.

Did you know, that when the screen is loading, you can turn and zoom in and out the object. If on the Xbox (since not sure if PC or PS3 does it) if you move one thumb stick, it turns/zooms slowly, if you use both thumbsticks, they turn/zoom faster. Not a big thing but something I stumbled apon when bored from loading :).

I didn't know you could interact with the loading screens because 99% of the time they're gone in 3 seconds. I barely even get to read the "tips".

Did you know that:

-Waiting to lvl up until your low on hp/mana/stam, and lvl'ing up during combat would bring you back to full hp/...

-That mounting your horse while being overcumbered allowed u to fast travel again while on said horse

-That only from the point where u deliver the dragonstone, dragon's will start showing up in the world.

Do they break? And are companions sometimes incapable of opening locks, like if they lack the skill?

Really? Are you playing with some outdated PC hardware? I'm playing on the 360 and load times average out at around 20 seconds, sometimes less depending on what area I'm loading.
