This is pretty much one of the few games i've encountered massive ammounts of bugs so far, and by far the most annoying one is the one which resets your rank. Sheesh.

Different threads? No. No we can't. Not until we get some fixes. Too many of fundamental features are broken in this game. It is unforgivable from a quality control standpoint. User experience should be the #1 priority in any entertainment product.

What have the devs been doing all this time? Really? Why put out a product that isn't ready? And I don't mean a little unpolished, I mean big fat blaring broken. And EA should never allow the release of a game in such a state. It's negative PR and shows they don't care about quality.

This game isn't ready for release. Even if they fix it, the frustration has left a bad taste in my mouth for this game and future EA and Crytek products.

Yes, the game plays like a beta, a badly broken one. In fact, I've played betas that had less bugs that this.

We were supposed to get a patch within the week, there was no patch. There has been no official update, just speculation.

How Crysis 2 was made: The version for retards like DS-empire to understand:

1-Open CryEngine 3
2-New File
3-Look at 3 boxes. One is PC, one is PS3, one is 360
4-Make the game so it works on 360. It will work for all no matter what but make sure it works on the weakest one, 360.
5-The game works for 360 hurray. Now put in the game text. Put in the console text of the game first.
6-Console text gets puts into one version of the game, and thus happens to all 3 versions. Meaning PC version also gets console text. "Press start to play."
7-Open CryEngine 3 two more times.
8-New file in new CE3 windows. Drag PS3 version over. Save as, Crysis 2 PS3.
9-Repeat step 8 for xbox 360.
10-Take the remaining PC version, and add the PC text to it....

11-Quickly put the game on disc for all platforms
12-The PC text that was pre-readied must be implemented through Day1 patch since it couldn't be implemented soon enough.

I agree with the title and premise of this thread. It's sad. I put only a few hours into this game. I discovered the single player bugs on my own and in trying to find a solution I read about all the multiplayer bugs. I stopped playing, what else to be done with a game that doesn't work? Isn't there a legal argument for paying for something that doesn't work? Service not rendered or some such?

at this stage I don't give a flying turd if it's got DX11 orf if it's a console port. I got an unplayable game (dual gpu flicker bug) and I can't return the game to the retailer I bought it from

Funny enough, he is right in a way, the PS3 is indeed the most powerful when you look at raw numbers. But then to get the most out of it you really need to design a game from the ground up to take advantage of it. When designing a cross platform game you need to design it to be as compatible with both units as possible, there for leaving out key parts of the PS3 development platform.

But at any rate, all games should run best on the PC... shame this one looks not too good

I′m new in series and i didn′t played crysis 1 at least in my pc(i dont pirate games), i save money working and studying and i have a life just to make it clear.I started playing mw2 at 2009, and i have cod4 too a game that runs much better than Black Ops(better frame rates), i also bad company 2 and why cause if you were smart you can buy it at promotions, i love fps and in all of these games, Crysis 2 is my favourite fps for now, cod games sold 1 million in pc, go check steam stats of peak and current users.This thing can′t be a port i posted like 3, 4 times, it′s so easy to go to a lobbie and save unlocks and ****.Lots of cheaters? no, they own you kill cam doesnt show any suspicious **** and these guys complain as ****, i counted 110 players in 150000 with aim bot and ****, i play mainly in uk servers and i′ve found like 2, 3 cheaters in almost 2 weeks after game launch, wow thats a lot.Dont get me wrong, i respect console players but think to run this game you dont need a good a super machine.I buy a product and if it comes a little broken, who cares? my god, they promise and they do it! learn to read and stop wasting with these forums.Black Oops is one thing, crytek cares about all customers
