The MP Beta was fantastic. It had bugs (most of the Stealth module's higher ranks didn't work), but one assumed that would get ironed out in the finished product.

Why is the finished game dramatically worse? Orbital Strikes cause world shattering lag; points and item unlocks often go unsaved; hackers are absolutely everywhere; connection issues abound; overlapping music in the menus.

If the game survives another month or so, it might be great. As it stands, it isn't finished and I shouldn't have payed for it.

You can't deny the fact that this game isn't finished. There is no anti-cheat software! Who would release a game like that, especially after it got leaked virtually in its entirety? I don't care if it is Crytek's fault or not. I got swindled.

Yep, most of the people in this forum think that if they get a bad experience, or think things will never get better... it represents a general fact: it will be the same for everyone else. Like the retarded that posted that he burned his GTX 590 and is telling everyone in a Crysis forum to don't buy a NVIDIA product. And now we got just a bunch of people with the same cheap arguments against a new game.... everyone today feels a critic, as if all the other products were perfectly done. Gears of War for PC, easily hacked; CS [come on, we all know it], and more and more popular FPS that can be easily hacked. There are lots of hackers in C2, besides the lack of security, because is the new thing; same happens to Windows, who gives a sh** in making viruses for Mac when it will probably affect less than 15% of the systems worldwide, but just try to hack a Mac from other system and it will take 5 seconds [real fact -through Safari]. When the novelty passes out, maybe the hackers will gradually disappear. And if you know who the f*** cheats online, can't you look for another server without the ones you know who cheat?!!!! I never denied it's not finished. And there is anti-cheat software but: 1:) It's in it's first stages and 2:) it didn't need to be implemented through patches/updates. I know it's there because I BARELY see hackers now. BARELY.

How Crysis 2 was made: The version for retards like DS-empire to understand:

1-Open CryEngine 3
2-New File
3-Look at 3 boxes. One is PC, one is PS3, one is 360
4-Make the game so it works on 360. It will work for all no matter what but make sure it works on the weakest one, 360.
5-The game works for 360 hurray. Now put in the game text. Put in the console text of the game first.
6-Console text gets puts into one version of the game, and thus happens to all 3 versions. Meaning PC version also gets console text. "Press start to play."
7-Open CryEngine 3 two more times.
8-New file in new CE3 windows. Drag PS3 version over. Save as, Crysis 2 PS3.
9-Repeat step 8 for xbox 360.
10-Take the remaining PC version, and add the PC text to it....

oh no! The release date is today and EA didn't give us enough time to finish

11-Quickly put the game on disc for all platforms
12-The PC text that was pre-readied must be implemented through Day1 patch since it couldn't be implemented soon enough.

I have absolutely no idea what Silent Phenomed is going on about, but as I was saying: I'm frustrated, and that's just Multiplayer issues. Single player has all sorts of problems. Melee attacks get disabled; movement sticks; upgrade points get lost; there are tons of graphical glitches on the most powerful machines; the story is a mess. Also, who doesn't have quick-saves these days? I hate to hate on consoles (I do so love my PS3), but that is probably the reason.

Good Lord, the story. Crysis 1 didn't have an award winning story, sure, but Nomad and Psycho had a certain charm. Where, then, are they? What especially bothers me are the aliens. Non-humanoid ancient aliens who need a drastically cold climate are more interesting than humanoid aliens who live in the same conditions we do and use technology aesthetically similar to ours. Imagine flash-frozen New York, with gigantic waves carrying cargo-ships into the city frozen solid in the middle of the street. Why give up on that?

I loved the first game and I was really excited about the second one, crytek was doing great in my book but this game is just unfinished, it really is like playing a beta. Idk if its because of the consoles that they had to make an engine for everyone or not but this game isnt even near as awsome as the last, Shouldnt have to wait a month or 2 for them to come out with updates n such that should have been already ingame and working. I love the game i really do but its hard to play when every time i get on theres a hacker in game with me.
I hope they just make an expansion for pc and update the engine to make it what it should be. Still ill keep playing for a while in hopes they fix it :/

Here is not on discussion who have brain or not, it's so simple, i bougth and paid for a multiplayer game than all can play on it for free and make all than they want inside.
The wrost thing is than i can't use it coz it's unfair game.

This is not a release product, i make software too and if i send to market one than is bugged like this i lost all customers, it's the same than u have a site where ppls pay to acces on it and u don't stop all others than can acces for free and insult your customers.
