Differences of daedra and aedra

Post » Wed Jun 19, 2013 10:43 am

so whats the difference? i know this

-the daedra did not help create nirn

-the aedra did

-the aedra are weaker because of this and are mortal

-the daedra retained 100% of their power, and are immortal

-the aedra can walk into nirn because they are part of it

-the daedra cannot, although they can make representations

-each aedra controls an aspect of nirn. arkay is to death, akatosh is to time, etc

-i could kill an aedra if they appeared on nirn

What would be the consequences?

i know that the aedra are powerful compared to men and mer but lets say that we did kill the aedra. and what did lorkan control??

Well Daedra once freely roamed Mundus with ease, it wasn't until Akatosh created the barrier with the dragon fires as the stone of the barrier that's why we see lore where the Daedra were way more active then they were today. As for killing an Aedra I'm not entirely sure they die like we do but it's still possible. Also while Daedra can appear to be killed on mundus or oblivion they are never dead.

The Daedra are like Disco, they are never truly dead.

Aedra cannot walk Nirn in the literal sense, as they are "dead". They do create avatars though.
