Different forms of vampirism?

Post » Tue Aug 28, 2012 1:14 am

I'm thinking of making a fan-fic with a vampire character, but am wondering if there can be other types of vampirism than the regular skyrim/oblivion type. Not a vampire lord, those are different things all together.

I'm thinking that it'd have slightly more magical properties and have originated in Summerset Isle.

The main properties will be the same (weakness to light and fire, gets more aggressive as time between feeding increases, etc)

I haven't figured out exactly what yet, but I'm thinking that they might be more of magicka vampires, ie: mage hunters.

Sorry if I sound a bit scatter brained, I got my wisdom teeth pulled two days ago and the hydrocodone makes me a bit off.

There are like a few hundred kinds of vampires, many of them using dark magic (All the nine bloodlines of the Illiac Bay to some extent, Aundae, Whet-Fang, and Volkihar at the very least)

Well, the Aundae in Vvardenfell were magic-oriented and were all Altmer, IIRC.
