Different kinds of Trolls CONFIRMED! : V

So far, Snow/Frost Trolls and Forest trolls have been confirmed! edit: On a side note, according to what I saw in the video: There are also different variants within the Troll Races, darker complexion, bigger etc. That's cool right?

Also, did you notice the Forest Troll wearing a wooden club, you know what this means? Trolls can wear stuff... hopefully, when the game comes out.

Thats cool, anyway I'm not a fan of green trolls but the bone club/wooden... my barbarian will extend his arsenal real quick!
On the side note: IF you can use the club as well will it be one-handed or two-handed?

I hope they're not just the same creature with a different texture, and that they've different combat behaviour (and even weapons? it'd be nice if the snow one throws rocks, and the forest one tries to knock you down with a log).

I'd like to see snow trolls come rampaging at you furiously through the snow and have the forest trolls stalk you in the midst of the trees and hit you at surprise, and go crazy.

It is only concept art, but I think it's safe to say they're at least trying to go for different kinds of trolls. But things do change as they're modeled, animated, and scripted into the game.

Yea it's not confirmed that there will be forest trolls, but it's very interesting, and knowing Beth's effort, I'm sure the atleast attempted to put the concept arts in and try them, not all but you know, the forest trolls, yet and still it's not a reason to get hyped about it :dmc:

that is concept art... you should NOT say anything is confirmed from concept art.

look, they had concept art of SPEARS and POLEARMS... but they confirmed in the fan interview, i think... that spears are NOT in the game.

so you really shouldnt take concepts as fact.

for all we know, there may only be one type of troll with absolutely no variation at all.

this topic is only going to succeed in building up hopes and then crushing them.

Yeah, that will be cool to see variations. Hopefully the variety will extend to other creatures as well so it won't look like every creature was cloned in a lab

People around here don't seem to understand what "confirmed" means...

You do realize that an artist may make dozens of different sketches of a character or enemy type before settling on the final design, right? This confirms nothing but the OP's gushing optimism.
