"Just peachy," Starr said, letting her usual sarcasm flow into her speech, "How about you guys?" she asked a little more seriously.

Not waiting for an answer she asked, "How did I get in here?"

Starr's burst of energy had worn off, she struggled to adjust herself in the medical bed. Her breathing had started to ease slightly.

Mark said, "Other than the fact that I got slashed by that panther, I'm fine. Rght now I'm a little more worried about you." He then said to Dimitri, "Remind me what we're here to find again."

"I carried you," Demetri said, "Twice today now." Turning to Mark, the vault entrance, supposed to be around here somewhere."

Starr smiled at Demetri, "You just can't resist me," she said laughing.

"When can we go get the GECK?" she asked.

Starr tried to move out of the bed, but it was no use. She wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Mark said, "Right, everything that happened sort of made me forget our reason for coming here."

Demetri laughed, "You wish," Demetri joked, now being serious, "Not until you can fire a gun." Demetri said. Demetri walked to the door, and was asked by Duran where he was going, "Be back soon, going to look for the armory, not sure about you but I need some more ammo." Demetri carried on and went and what he thought was the armory, "Good, looks like I found it," Demetri said to himself, looking around he found some more 5mm rounds and packed them into a nearby ammo case.

He searched around more, finding something in an opened crate he picked it up and examined it, Demetri had found a powerfist it seems. Making his way back, he came into the room, "Well I found the armory, not far from here, so go there if you want, it's the usual standard military issue gear."

"So I'm stuck in this bed while you guys find the GECK?!" Starr yelled, "I didn't come this far to sit in a bed and wait for you guys to finish the mission."

Mark walked inside the armory after telling Det to stay with the others and replaced his Leather Armor for Combat Armor with a matching helmet. He also got .308 caliber rounds and got some new parts for his Sniper Rifle. Mark then found some Microfusion Cells for his Plasma Rifle and came back. He said to Starr, "Calm down, it's only for a day, we're not leving you behind, I promise." He then noticed Det crawling over Starr's bed.

"Not now," Demetri said, "You're vunreable, we can't just leave you." Demetri sat down on the chair again and grabbed a bottle of water and drank some of it, giving it to Starr, "You should drink," Demetri said.

Lifting the bottle of water to her mouth was a struggle for Starr. The effect of the super stimpack had drained Starr of a lot of energy. She took small sips. She noticed Mark's pet crawling on her, she didn't have the energy to push it away. She decided to just leave it be.

"Thanks for saving me guys," she whispered.

Mark said, "Just drink up and get some rest, you'll be fine by tommorow. I think you should take a look on your bed." Det had finished crawling on the bed snd was now starting to crawl on Starr. He then said, "You're welcome, my friend."

"You can't of expect us to just leave you." Demetri said, "We are all in this together." Duran walked in, he seemed to of left the room without anyone noticeing with both Grin and Saturn, "We just looked around the place, see the armory has already been plundered," Duran said, "I also took the time to plunder their stock, quite a few peices of tinned food, nothing speical, and also an old travel stove, it still works, so we can cook it as well." Duran seemed kinda pleased with himself, "Thanks," Demetri said and watched Duran set it up.

Mark picked Det off of Starr and said, "She's probably not in the mood.", and had him crawl on his back. He then checked his Pip-Boy and heard Henry's message. He said to Dimitry, "They're looking for us, I wouldn't be suprised if they were spying on us right now."

"Alright we'll split into two groups, Nathan and I will approach them and see if we can't link up again. The second group will set up a crossfire with sniper rifles and stand by in case things go bad. Understood?" Henry got a chorus of affirmatives and they made their way to the base. Henry split up and said to Nathan. "We're in this together now and I consider your advice to be pretty good so your unofficial rank is now squad leader of Alpha team. I'll take Bravo team. A vertibird is 30 minutes away in case we need a medivac and reinforcements." They saw the base and found that it was heavily infested with foliage. It would hopefully have some additional supplies. Then there was the possibility of the GECK being here as well.

OOC: I can't say that I much understand what your planning Norman, are you giving my character people to command or just telling him that his position in the enclave is promised when he becomes a human again?
if the first then I somehow doubt that his troops would take that willingly a group of people trained that Ghouls are lesser then Humans would have a very hard time listening to a Ghoul.
if that is what your planning then I shall go along with it but know that having someone in charge of a military group that is Non-military in nature almost promises failure my Ghoul is a leader yes but he is a leader of sheep not wolves.

Nathan grinned, well who would have thought there was a progressive in the Enclave unofficial promotion for a ghoul Nathan stopped for a moment mentally, that was about as likely as Brahmin growing wings.
but then Nathan stilled for a moment before speaking in a low tone to Henry "You're expecting men that have killed ghouls for a great deal of their lives to take orders from one?" Nathan chuckled "Oh the irony."
Nathan wondered what would happen from here the place they had followed this group to was a deserted military base if the GECK had ever been here it was likely gone, Military bases got raided right after shopping malls and households.
Nathan focused back on Henry and spoke again "I'd say that if the geck is here it is hidden underground or is behind blast doors my advice would be to keep some sort of link with your soldiers but say that they died or some similar thing so as to make the group trust us more they seem to be much more cooperative when the person that they do not trust is outnumbered. "
"oh and also if you have any traps lying around now would be the time to consider setting them up, I saw that scythe armed creature take five grenades to the body and keep moving earlier so you'll want to keep something like a mini nuke handy if we've any intention of deterring it from here."

Roy pondered as he sat wondering what would happen after even if he did manage to get the GECK he had dreamed of a tamed land one that would give his people peace and prosperity, after seeing the brutality inflicted by the enclave though he was reconsidering the forest was the only reason his people had managed to survive perhaps it would be better to leave the land as is and just take from other places. The GECK was a mighty power and if he could find a way to control the beasts of the forest with it he would easily dominate all within his reach.
the forest grew louder as the Boxes made their way through it creatures swarmed ahead of it trying their best to escape the noise the radio crew monitering the progress of the Boxes saw the south one go dark people paniched and wondered what was going on.
all of the creatures of the forest were susceptible to the sound made from the boxes they had tested it and yet something had taken one out.

It wondered what was going on after having burrowed out of the ground off in the distance a noise was grating against its senses not particularly harming It but raising It's rage.
having found the source of the hated noise It struck swiftly severing the odd yellow beast in two before walking off in search of those previous Men that had harmed It.

((I didn't think you knew where the G.E.C.K was norman, it sort of hinted at that you were going to use the base as a HQ for the area.))

Demetri just nodded at mark, if they were nearby, they had as much chance of finding the G.E.C.K as they did.

Demetri had told Starr to rest and had gone out into the corridor, leaning against the wall he brought his dogtags out again and started looking at them, the only reason he left was because of death. He had led the group for two years, yet he had only lost two men in total. He made sure of their safety, even on the most dangerous mission, but when Conti showed up, things went to hell, ordering them on a suicide mission, many died, Demetri couldn't of done anything to help them, he just picked up and left, his whole squad dead because of one man's orders. Demetri had no idea of the outcome, he just hoped Conti died just long his comrades.

OOC wait I'm starting to confuse myself with my own posts. oops I just noticed a inconsistency in my posts I'll just edit it out no one's posts so far indicates that this will cause too much trouble

"Well the decision is more diplomatic than it is practical, you'll almost certainly earn a position in the enclave officially afterwards. The men will just have to adapt to their temporary commander and possibly future one as well if you chose a position in the Enclave armed forces. !" Henry walked forward into the base and looked around, the base was old, but it could be used as a good Enclave base to continue the fight here in Orlando. Henry called out "Demetri! we want to talk to you! Nathan, in your seemingly endless store of wisdom I hope that this is the right thing to do" They then waited in the entrance for a reply

Demetri perked up as he heard something, listening again carefully he heard his name called a second time, he couldn't quite guess the voice, but if someone knew his name here it can't be too good. Popping his head into the medical room, "Duran with me, I think we may have a problem," Demetri said, walking towards the entrance, not bothering to take his minigun and with Duran in tow.

Once seeing the entrance they walked into it, just seeing the armoured forms of the enclave, "Dam," Demetri said under his breath, Duran looked at Demetri and asked, "That the enclave?" Demetri nodded and motioned for Duran to come forward, drawing his pistol and Duran doing the same with his shotgun moved forward and looked out of the base.

"What the hell do you want?" Demetri asked with spite in his voice, he wasn't going to let his guard down, "You have no reason to be here, just leave this land and go back to kissing your "President's" [censored]."

Starr still couldn't get out of the bed, it was killing her not to know what was going on.

"Someone go out there and tell me what's happening," she said.

Mark said, "Ok, I will.", and walked outside. He looked outside and saw Enclave soldiers surrounding the area and said to Starr, "It appears that the Enclave has caught up to us at last." He then said to Det, "Stay here with Starr, this could get nasty.", and then pulled out his Plasma Rifle and went outside. Once outside, he said to Dimitri, "Guess I was right." He then looked at the Enclave soldiers and saiid, "Haven't you guys caused enough death and destruction for one day. President Eden can kiss my ass!"

"Seems so," Demetri said quietly, "Though could we really risk running in a firefight, out numbered two to one, not including wounded." Demetri looked at the enclave, they couldn't fight a dozen well trained and armed men, it'll be suicide, on second thoughts, it was most likely better to not of insulted Demetri thought.

Mark said quietly, "Yeah, this doesn't look good."

"I'm going to ask nicely, where is the GECK? No one has to die here if you're willing to cooperate, your new friend Roy isn't as great as you think he is! As soon as you get the job done he's just going to get rid of you!" Henry let that sink in, "Despite what you think this is still America and therefore the GECK is government property anyway so as I see it you have 2 choices, help the Enclave get the GECK and be richly rewarded or get out of my way. Anyway, I'm still going to use this base as the Enclave center of operations so you'll have to leave anyway. If you help me you'll be saving hundreds of lives. We were able to work together on the train so why can't we work together now?"

Mark said, "We don't even know where the GECK is, you're wasting your time. The last time we met, you weren't pointing guns in our faces. The GECK is what made this place possible, if it's removed this place will once again become desert like nearly everywhere else in this [censored] up world we call the Wasteland."
