"[censored] you," Demetri said, "We are still looking for the G.E.C.K, if we knew where it was do you think we would be here?" Demetri looked to Duran and Mark, hopeing they will stick with him, "So you're the goverment of a land in turmoil?" Demetri gave a sarcastic clap, "You've done well for yourselves."

Mark said, "It was your fault that this country is in this quagmire of hopelessness and despair anyway, why should we help you? All you've brought to the Wasteland is death., and I'm not letting you destroy this paradise like you've destroyed this country." He then turned to Dimitry and said, "I'm with you all the way, friend."

"Tell me, why would the removal of the GECK lead to desertification? There is no logic behind it. If it was used as intended the removal of it would not do anything. You claim not to know where the GECK, but I have a feeling that you're lying to me.
I won't kill you because you didn't kill me back on the train. You call the Enclave a bad government and that all we bring is death. What we're trying to do here is reverse it. Do you see anyone else trying to do what the Enclave is doing? Besides, this is just a job for you mercs. Have you forgotten what you're here for, how far are you willing to go for a job? If you do not stand down then I'm afraid subdue you forcefully. "

"You're murderers," Demetri said, "I doubt you gladly walked into Orlando and were praised." Demetri signaled for the two others to follow him, this gave the officer his answer.

Demetri got back with a grim face, seeing Grin and Saturn had returned, "We need to build some defenses," Demetri ordered. Grabbing a hospital bed and took it out into the corridor and tipped it over, he brought another and did the same on the other side, "Help me," Demetri again ordered.

Mark said, "Just why should we trust the Enclave because just one of you has a sense of honor. Your superiors will just dispose of us anway once we even agree to helping you. You're all just a bunch of murderers, we saw eastern Orlando burn." He then ran to help Dimitri set up fortifications for the eventual siege and assault from the Enclave.

"Eastern Orlando, we didn't intend to burn the settlement down yet they fired upon us first. I'll put in a good word for you but don't expect too much," Henry walked back to his men. "surround the infirmary but don't shoot unless fired upon," The men made a perimeter around the infirmary and made sure that they couldn't get out. "Echo team we have a siege here and we need more men. While they kept Demetri at bay Henry would sweep the rest of the base for anything useful. Henry got on the radio and talked to his superiors regarding how to handle the situation.

Mark hacked into the computers and activated the turrets and robots inside the base. He then started to set mines on the floor to slow down the Enclave. Mark then said to Dimitri, "The bases defenses will hold off the Enclave for a while, but we should find the information we need and dissapear into the jungle, it won't hold forever. Let's just focus on making more traps, though they've now got us surrounded."

turning to Henry Nathan spoke dully "well I figured something like that would happen." pulling his 44. out of his holster he reloaded the two empty portions of the revolver. "lets go find that GECK hopefully those guys don't get a long hallway to fight in I remember that Big guy having a Mini-gun."

Mark then put more mines around the paths near the entrance, bottlenecking the Enclave into the long path. He also started cordoning off areas with sandbags and concertina wire he'd found in the armory, turning the infirmary into a mini fortress in its own right. He then said to Dimitri, "You finished making your own defenses yet?"

"We are where we need to be," Demetri said, "I feel that this is where we need to be, we just need to find the entrance." Demetri grabbed his minigun, "Starr, and Tom, stay here, you can't fight at the moment, Duran and Mark, set up traps, see if we can get to the armory and grab some mines, and some plastic explosives." Demetri went into the corridor and rested the weapon on the barricade, "Well get going!"

"ya know if it comes right down to it they're locking themselves in this place we could just block the exits and smoke them out." he looked at Henry "I mean you do have something that burns correct?"

Starr saw Mark and the others making fortifications.

"What is going on?" Starr yelled.

She could feel some energy returning to her, enough that Starr was able to adjust herself in the bed. Slowly she tried to reach for her bag on the table.

Mark then ran back into the armory and got some C4 to blast their way out when the time came. He then started to place grenade boquets above the staircases with tripwire, and armed himself with Frag Grenades before pulling out his Plasma Rifle and waited for the Enclave to arrive. He then said to Starr, "The Enclave are coming because they believe we have the G.E.C.K.'s location, we've already set traps for them, so hunker down because it's gonna be a long night." He then pulled out his Dart Gun, which had been modified with a cocktail of Radscorpion and Jumper venom after saving Tom, and holstered it in case they got into close-range combat.

Demetri took the C4 and pulled a chunk of it away, putting a detonation device in it, for later use and keeping the rest spare. "Heh, a siege, doubt it will end well." He saw an enclave soldier pop his head out to peak on them, Demetri whirled up the minigun and scared the soldier back into cover. "Seems they are checking on us.."

Mark said, "Yeah, I also found these." They were gas masks is case the Enclave tried to gas them out. He then put his own on and handed one to the others just in case. He was even able to fit one on Det after much dfficulty, to the displeasue of the woodlouse who tried to get it off. Mark then said, "It's for your own protection, we can't have the group mascot dying on us, now can we?"

Things had seemed to have gone very quickly to Tom. He had bringing up the rear behind Grin when he hastened with Tom following, eventually rejoining the group and killing the panther. Tom had marveled at the size of the creature, and even in death it seemed beautiful to him. The only animals in the wasteland that still had their fur were the occasional dog that was still domestic. Here, life seemed overgrown more than desperate. As they moved to the military base, Tom began to doubt his judgement of Starr, just as the others did. He felt like the same principle for the Enclave applied to Talon, it depended on the individual. After Starr woke up, Tom moved off to the armory, grabbing an assualt rifle and slinging it around his shoulder before he grabbed some ammo for each of the weapons. He had started to leave when he spotted a minigun, and a rare smile creeped across his face as he hefted it and grabbed a couple boxes of ammo.

Tom headed back to the others, setting the gun and the boxes of ammo down by the door. He noticed that Demetri and Mark were gone, so he went looking and found them out front with Henry, Nathan and Enclave troops. Tom's first thought was 'Why is Nathan, of all people, with the Enclave?'.His next thought was to thank Henry, until he heard what he was saying; the same [censored] all the Enclave spouted like a broken record. They were the government, they were trying to save America, all that other [censored]. Instead, Tom resumed his role as silent support, drawing his rifle audibly and standing behind his...friends with a grim face. Henry set up the seige, and they went inside, and Tom prepared the minigun for a good defence. As he thought, he realized why Nathan was there. He wanted to be human again, and Tom didn't judge his choice. He accepted the gasmask with a nod to Mark, and a silent look to Demetri, his eyes drifting unexpectedly to Starr. Again, this was a trip for surprises. Three friends in one job. Who would've guessed?

"OK lets not check on the infirmary for the GECK until we've checked the rest of the base." They sweeped the barracks, the motor pool, the mess hall, and the command center. "That just leaves the labs, which is connected to the infirmary. They could be sitting on the GECK and not know it!" Henry didn't like it, but the only choice left was to clear the infirmary ."OK men I've got word from command, they like how we're doing so far and has given me the authority to do what it takes to get that GECK. Henry called the group out, "This is your last offer, I don't want to kill you but I have to follow orders, stand down and we'll do the same!" Henry ordered the assault teams to go on standby and waited for a response

Starr finished making a bomb when she looked up at Tom. She gave him a thumbs up and went back to work. She'd almost used up all her materials, and had never made explosives so fast.

"Demetri! Get in here," she said, before Demetri was in she began telling him what each explosive did, "Here's a few of the napalm grenades, you've already seen what that does. I made a few trip wire explosives, and lastly is these white phospherous explosives. You can throw them or set them up like a mine, once the the phospherous gets in contact with skin or armor it will burn until its burned a hole through someone. Water will make it burn with more intensity, don't hurt yourself."

She sighed a bit, she was exhausted, and annoyed. She was annoyed because she didn't have her full strength.

Grabbing the explosives, "Thanks," Demetri said, rushing back out into the corridor, "Screw you!" Demetri's reply was to Henry's request, "The moment we turn surrender we'll end up as another corpse for you to step over." Demetri checked the minigun for any porblems and got ready to open fire, anyone who came down this corridor was going to shot or blown to bits.

To Henry's disappointment, the answer was no. He had no choice " All teams we have a green light on the operation!" Echo team would make entry through the front and make their way to the infirmary through a series of hallways. Bravo would use c4 to blow a hole in the infirmary and get the jump on the defenders. Alpha was to breach through the armory and clear it. Charlie was to create a hole in the roof and rappel down right on top of them. They were equipped with thermal goggles and the entire operation was to be resolved within 2 minutes. Shock and awe was the key to success. "All teams ready in 3, 2, 1!" They released tear gas through the building and flashbangs were used to stun the defenders. "GO GO GO!" At that moment all the c4 detonated at once and the assault began.

Demetri breathed heavily, bringing his goggles down over his eyes, knowing the dust and debris will be thrown around. Calming down he revved up the minigun and cut down the first two enclave soldiers to show themselves, the others fell into cover and started to fire laser and plasma shots down the corridor. Demetri ducked behind cover, Demetri suddenly heard an explosion, seems the enclave had tripped a mine.

Nathan walked into the hole in the infirmary after the enclave and witnessed chaos as the defenders fought to repel an attack from positions that wer- his thoughts were interrpted by a phosphorous bomb going off and killing two soldiers but also burning holes through the struts of the building. repel attackers from positions that were almost undefended. they were adapting very quickly though and also seemed to be unnaffected by the smoke already men were bing lost due to the smoke filled rooms and the traps lacking heat signatures. not only that but the tables were shaking, wait shaking tables? sticking his head outside quickly nathan saw the source a massive wall of creatures fleeing something were charging through the trees shattering anything stupid enough or solid enough to get in their way pulling out his presiously stolen radio nathan turned it on and had enough time to yell "Stampede outside!" before the creatures were nearly upon them.

Roy felt better now having launched his counter the creatures would be in a frenzy of fear and more then likely trample any idiodic enclave that got in there, the group had found the postion already and if nothing else Grin would survive he always survived.

It saw the Yellow beast and witnessed as the horde it was driving crashed into the building as soon as it happened the yellow thing turned and started to move diagonally south driving more creatures into the smoking building
seeing that this was likely the place to look for those other Men It melded into the bushes and stalked into an empty entrance way.

Initially the assault was highly successful, it scattered and dazed the defenders as they pressed the advantage. However Echo team had suffered major casualties due to the may traps that they had laid. Henry decided to join in and loaded his laser rifle and walked into the infirmary. The sight was chaos as the defenders seemed to use a large amount of explosives to fight off the Enclave. The fight seemed to be certain victory and the remaining defenders were all to be captured or killed. Henry was about to shoot a man named Grin when the Mantis creature returned and landed right in the middle of the fight. Suddenly, what was to be an easy siege became a deathtrap as the monster tore up everyone at close range. Outside thing were bad as waves of creatures flanked and overwhelmed the guards and everything fell to pieces. Henry went over to Demetri who was shooting at him and shouted "I warned you not to resist yet you still fight on!"

There was a loud bang, and then smoke in the infirmary. Starr had to close her eyes, when she opened them she saw gas coming into the room. The gas mask prevented it from affecting Starr.

I'll have to thank Mark for the mask, she thought.

She heard footsteps and then screams, they must be closing in on the infirmary. Starr got scared, she wasn't able to fight. She decided it would be best to hide, using what strength she had she rolled herself off the bed. She hit the floor hard, she grunted, the pain in her chest made her pause for a bit. Most of the med-x had worn off. She reached up and grabbed her bag to make sure they thought no one was in the room, and slowly crawled underneath the bed.

Nathan pulled his plasma pistol out of his pack and fired on the Scythe arm after seeing it near Henry Nathan hoped that it gave the man a distraction to escape it.
turning nathan witnessed a massive armored beetle storm by crippling an enclave soldier and crushing one of Roy's men into paste before turning and fleeing through the back of the building making a fresh hole as it did. the creatures were a surprise but at the very least Nathan's call had alerted the men to the danger.
looking down he noticed a bug rolled into a ball next to it was a gas mask picking the thing up he pondered where it had come from as it did not seem to be affected by whatever that was driving the rest of these animals while rolled up. "and where did you come from?" he asked to no one in particular.
