Mark said to Dimitri as they were being marched, "Let's just hope they present us to Roy, and not a firing squad. He'd hidden his Combat Knife while they were preoccupied with Dimitri, but kept it so just in case things got nasty.

"Knowing Roy, I wouldn't be suprised if he wanted to gloat," Demetri said, "Or kill us himself."
"Shut up!" their leader shouted, "Now hurry up, don't want to keep Roy waiting." Demetri followed on, the sun had risen and the group had finally reached the entrance to the tower. Demetri followed in and they were all forced to walk many flights of stairs.

"Now, in there," the groups captor ordered. Doing as he said they walked in and saw roy sitting at a small table in his usual suit. He was eat wing what looked to be some fruit. "Ah, you've arrived," Roy said with a smile on his face, "I knew you would, I didn't doubt it at all." Roy pointed his fork at the group, "And you know," Roy laughed, "That young lady proved a valuable pawn in getting hold of this." Roy tapped the suitcase next to him, "Who would of thought she would betray you lot just not to risk losing her arm."
"Well that answers one of our questions," Demetri said, "The next question is, why are we here?"
"Ah you see, tomorrow you are jumper food, it keeps them pacified for some time, they don't require suprisingly," Roy smiled, "You will most likely feed about a two dozen between you."

Mark said to Dimitri, "Looks like we've gotten out of the frying pan, only to land in the fire." He then said to Roy, "What happened to Starr, I figured you'd have her here to gloat and rub her betrayal into our faces?"

"She is in a safe place," Roy replied, "I like the idea, but no." Roy got up and walked over to the group, "The moment you lost the G.E.C.K you should of left back to what hell hole you come from," Roy said. Demetri shook his head, "When I have a contract I stick to it, as I'm sure the others here would."
"Well not the young lady it seems," Roy said, Demetri frowned, it seems he was right, though Roy still had this smugness about him. "You know Demetri," Roy said, "You are very narrow minded, you don't see advantage here, the G.E.C.K can be used to reshape this world, a better tomorrow, a beautiful world." Roy walked away and sat back at the table, "Don't you see?"

Mark said, "All I see at the moment is a man who's about to feed us to giant spiders, so you have no right to preach to us. I believe the G.E.C.K. should be used to create a better world, but you're not the person to do so."

Roy laughed, "You say it, but what can you do to enforce it?" Roy asked, "As it stands, I will be the one to change this world, and you will not live to see it happen."

"Roy, you're a bastard, you don't want it to further the people here," Demetri said, "Just yourself, most of these people you rule over are tribals, yet how many accept it willingly?"
Roy laughed, "As long as I hold power the Tribals will follow me, they'll jump of a cliff if I say so."
"Really? You trust your power that much?"
"Yes," Roy replied, he looked at Demetri, unervering him, Roy did hold alot of power, and it seems he wasn't afraid of being attacked by his 'people'.

Mark thought that things had gone from bad to worse. Roy was clearly power-mad, but he was holding most of the cards. Mark knew that even if he pulled out his Combat Knife, Roy's men would kill them all slowly, so he settled with saying, "I hope a Deathclaw rips you to shreds, or even better, the creature."

At that exact moment Henry launched his attack. 5 mortar rounds were lobbed over into Roy's tower and smoke rounds soon followed. The tower shook from the explosion but it only damaged it's aesthetics, down on the ground the tribals began attacking and Roy' patrols were shocked to see such a coordinated attack upon his own base. Henry took Nathan and the squad and blew holes in the wall. Soon the fight was a bitter struggle in hand-to-hand combat. Henry hoped that it would but him enough time to sneak up to Roy.

Nathan walked slowly, the halls of the tower echoed from the lack of people, the rest of the group he followed walked with whispered grace and technique only the small whine of servos entering the hallway.
he had been on full alert since the start of this and it had saved him several times when the garrisoned gunners shot near or at him and the silence of this hallway was messing with his senses, that same feeling he had started feeling the the vault was coming back.
A glint caught the corner of his eye and Nathan turned, light reflected from something outsided and nathan turned as his heart hammered in fear, looking outside he saw a piece of metal that had shredded partially not too far off and was catching a glint from the sun.
Nathan felt quite stupid turning to address the group near him he spoke "It was nothing, sorry." and went back to walking cautiously paranoia high and his pistol partially drawn.
Had Nathan looked closer he would see that the metal was bulging as it strained to support something it should not be able to.
The King had arrived and the peasants were none the wiser.

"What the hell is a deathclaw?" Roy aasked with a frown on his face, "Just forget it." Roy looked at the group and his attention was distracted by one of his men rushing, out of breath, "Roy... One of the... tribes, they're attacking," he said, "And they seem to be a bit more organized then usual." Roy stood up knocking his chair to the floor, "What!?" Roy shouted, "I'll teach them to attack me." Roy went behind hmself and slid open a panel revealing a pump action shotgun with a bandolier of shotgun shells. Roy took his jacket off and slung the bandolier on before loaded the gun, "You," Roy pointed at one of the men, "Take this to the bunker." Roy handed the man the suitcase, "You and you, with me, and the rest of you, take these outsiders to their 'quarters'." Roy ran off with the two men he ordered to follow him.

Demetri went where he was told be the men, Demetri looked at Mark and nodded his head, they'll try to get away now.

Tom's judgment of Roy upon their first meeting? A wanna-be President Eden. He started looking around, planning the escape. Tom remembered the Mark had a combat knife, but he hadn't seen then take it when they took the rest of their weapons. He pulled his own combat knife from his boot, indicating for Mark to draw his as well. Only two guards left to watch them, not paying any attention to their captives. They were too pissed they had to stay and watch the prisoners instead of getting to kill some tribals, and as such, they were too engrossed in looking out the windows at the battle outside. Tom looked to Mark, nodding as he moved to the guard on the left, his knife glinting in the sunlight streaming in through the windows.

Mark nodded as well and snuck up on the guard on the right. He covered the guards mouth with his right hand and used his left to slit the guards jugular. After a few moments of struggling, the guard fell over, dead. Mark turned to Tom and said, "Let's get out of here, find the G.E.C.K., track down Starr, and if we get the chance, kill Roy."

Henry and the team moved up the stairs with great skill and arrived at the elevator. They began hacking it, Henry turned around to see that the tower was still strangely empty. The distraction must have worked, "How long till we can get the elevator going?" Henry was told that it would be at least 10 minutes. "Damn! We need to hurry up!" Henry checked his and turned to cover the hallway with his new infiltrator rifle. Suddenly two guards with shotguns slung over their backs turned the corner and were surprised to see an Enclave hit squad. Henry fired and took them down with two accurate shots to the head. "We need to hurry, it won't be long before they realize that some guys are missing."

Demetri reached down and grabbed one of the guard's shotgun and his knife. "G.E.C.K is priority," Demetri said, "Kill anyone who tries to stop us, try not to shot servents, I doubt they are armed." Demetri pushed the door to the room open gently, when he had a small gap he looked both ways down the corridor, "Safe, now move lets move quickly before we are caught in the crossfire."

Mark said, "Alright.", and follwed Dimitri. He looked and saw a footlocker in a room. Mark opened it and found all his weapons inside. After putting them on, he cut open a burlap sack, and Det crawled out. Mark then returned to the others.

Demetri led the group down the corridor, checking around each corner for any signs of Roy's men. As he looked around another he saw a guard standing next to a window, looking out at the battle raging below. Demetri went up to him slowly, trying not to make any news which may attract others. AS Demetri got closer the guard saw Demetri's reflection in the glass and turned around just in time to see a knife go towards his throat.

The man collasped to the floor, holding his neck to keep blood in and trying to breath. He let out a last gurgle as life slipped away from him. Demetri searched the bodies for anything useful, just some ammo and a peice of fruit could be found on him. "Lets carry on before more show up," Demetri said and carried on through the hallways of the tower.

Mark snuck up ahead of the group and saw a servant watching the battle. Mark snuck up on him and knocked him out with the butt of his Plasma Rifle. He then went back to the rest of the group. Mark then said to Dimitri, "Let's capture one of the guards and interrogate him for directions to the bunker. Sounds like a plan?"

Demetri nodded in agreement, "Watch out for them," Demetri said. Demetri led the group down to the floor below where they stumbled across two guards, Demetri ordered the group to wait where they were. Demetri waited as the guards came down the hallway. The first one came past Demetri first and recieved a shotgun blast to the side of the head. The other guard froze in fear as Demetri stepped around the corner with his shotgun pointed at the other one. "Mark, secure his weapons," Demetri ordered and watched the other guard, staring in fear at Demetri, with his comrade's blood splattered across the wall, himself and Demetri.

Henry stood in silence as the elevator went up.He checked his weapons and said " When we get to the top spread out and capture the GECK. The elevator arrived and his team tensed up in anticipation of a possible ambush. What happened was the elevator doors opened up to a heavily armed group of men escorting a guard holding a briefcase. They were equally surprised but Henry fired first, It was an all-out gunfight at point-blank range. Bullets were flying everywhere and everyone who stood in the front died quickly. Knowing skill wouldn't play as much of a part as compared to luck. Henry just stood and killed off the enemy as fast and accurately as he could. When the dust settled, Henry was surprised to still be alive. He looked down to find many bullets stopped by the recon armor. A few more shots and he would've been dead! Henry walked up to the dead man holding the briefcase and opened it. To his surprise it was the GECK! Turning to the few surviving men (3 including Nathan) he said "I'm surprised that it was this easy!" Fate, however, was not so kind. Immediately after he said these words Roy himself and a group of men rounded the corner and trained their weapons on them. Then they promptly disarmed Henry's team. "Nathan we need an escape plan fast!"

Mark secured the guards weapons and kicked them to the side. He then shot his Plasma Rifle into the second body, gooifying it. Mark then said, "Unless you want that to happen to you, you'll tell us what we want to know."

Demetri grabbed the guard by the scruff of his neck and took him into a room. Demetri threw him to the floor, "Okay, now you're going to tell me where the bunker is," Demetri said, "As well as what defenses it and this whole place has, are there turrets? Robots?" The guard just looked in fear, he had crawled over to a wall and hudled up, muttering to himself, Demetri frowned, looks like he had broken him before even starting to ask question. Demetri grabbed a chair and sat down, waiting for the man to hopefully get back to his senses.

also It currently wants to eat Roy and whoever is holding the GECK, its like hot potatoe with a grenade except well the grenade is a towering monster mantis instead of explosion propelled shrapnel.

thinking quickly nathan revealed what looked to be a sharpened spoon from one of his coat sleeves before stabbing what looked to be an important leader of the group in the kidney, it was unfortunate he was not near enough to Roy to stab him, when most of the other gaurds were distracted with the enclave troops and their shiny power armor. The other gaurds swiftly turned from what they were doing to see a tower dweller screaming in pain with an odd looking man standing next to him with a sharpened spoon held in a threatening manner. most of the attention of the group was focused on Nathan leaving the others a few seconds to escape in their own way before he grabbed his pack back from a stunned man and fled into the next corridor.
Nathan would have been shot and killed had there not been a distraction on the window behind him.

The sounds of battle and death were coming for all around, finding the usurper and his band would be difficult.
shifting on a landing outside of the tower It jumped landing three stories higher then it hand been and landed face to face with It's prey.
It glinted in the sun before charging the window.

Demetri came to antention, he had heard a roar, the roar, which heralded the coming of bloodshed. Demetri cursed, turning to their captive, "Tell us now," Demetri said, "And you will have time to run, so you may not get torn to shreds." The man looked up, terror in his eyes, "It's under the building, go in through the basemant," the man told Demetri. Demetri pulled the man to his feet and pushed him out the door, "I suggest running, as fast as you can," Demetri told him, he paused for a moment, "No, faster." The man scrambled away and tripped over his own feet, trying his best to get away, from them, from this place and maybe the creature.

Demetri turned to the group, "If that thing is here," Demetri said, "Should we look for Starr first?"

Mark turned to look at the guard running away and said to Dimitri, "Yeah, the creature being here should distract Roy's goons while we find her. I'm guessing it's here for the G.E.C.K., since Roy said it doesn't normally come into the city."
