OOC: I think that my character has a viable reason to be hostile being a Ghoul and you being in a group that hunts Ghouls. seeing as he has only been a ghoul for a short time (compared to other ghouls) I figure that your character's proposition would sway him, wanting to be human and all. so here is my characters decision, hopefully it is rationalized enough.
also it really ought to be decided WHEN this is Post- or Pre- Lone Wanderer, Pitt, Broken Steel, Op Anchorage (assorted quests) it would be nice to know what is going on in the world currently as that would affect people's decisions (regarding the enclave for example.)
I have also got to say that it is a bit odd for all these characters to be ok with ghouls but automatically hate the enclave but then I guess that after playing the vanilla campaign that the Enclave is cast the villain for the most part so it is hard to get past that. While on the other hand the Non-feral Ghouls do not try to murder you violently while playing the game, unless you steal their forks that is.
Nathan considered his options as night fell on the wasteland The smell of real honest to god food started filling the train and his body cried out for the chance of ambrosia, pulling out another cigarette he hoped that the action would dull the ache. The argument previously with that officer had been childish but Nathan could not help it, those people were demons as far as the underworld seemed to think of course then the brotherhood of steel mini-gun maniacs were worse then demons if that was true. Nathan had made ties with a few farms and homesteads dotting the wastes before his ghoulification and had checked up on them once and a while most had gotten taken by slavers a few the enclave had went after a select few, at the very least nathan heard about what happened to the ones the slavers got but the enclave ones were never seen again Nathan was not sure if that was a good or bad thing.
The Enclave was a proverbial blind spot in Nathan's knowledge and all the he knew of them were ghost stories and campfire tales. Most of the reason he had acted as he did was because while he knew the enclave was powerful that group was also outnumbered, the choice to work with the strongest group was instinct in him. Nathan could feel that damned feeling welling up inside him again, it ruined all rationality and could only be quenched by shattering hardship.
He hated when he began to hope ,it made him do very stupid things.
Outside of the enclave man (whom he now knew to be named Henry)'s cabin Nathan felt indecision grip him. It was the dead of night and he had been careful in traveling down here, all of the cabins had been closed as it was the middle of the night and he had seen no one in the hallway. Nathan knew that if he talked with this man and the others discovered it he would be the first to die having both the stigma of being a ghoul and taking this mans bait, he knew it was bait and was aware that if he pursued this he would likely die but damned if it was not the first chance Nathan had been given in nearly a decade of Unlife for a chance at something better.
He knocked softly but knew that the man was a soldier and would likely hear it "It's me, Nathan, the man from earlier" Nathan strained and thought he heard movement in the cabin then quietly added "I know what I said earlier was out of line, I'd like to talk about the offer you gave if it's still open."
