Demetri caught the grenade and threw it off as quickly as possible shouting duck to the workers on the platform, he wasn't sure where it landed but an explosion in what looked to be an old ticket office. "Fuses on those grenades are just too short to attemplt to blow someone up at this distance," Demetri said. Kneeling down and picking up the assassins pistol, "Seems you don't have a gun anymore either," Demetri said, "So tell me who your employeer is and you may just keep your kneecaps in one piece."

Mark said in a cold voice, "I'd suggest you'd listen to what he says. He's not the only one tiring of your games." At this moment Mark was seriously considering just killing him, but he'd wait for Demitry's decision.

Jacob muttered something and then said "Ya know, I'm starting to see things your way." He shook his head and said "My employer? Um.. what was his name, I don't know, he was young, lived in a giant tower, seemed to have a look of an assassin off a old pre-war movie.."

(OOC: Maybe the same guy who employed us, Burke since he's an evil bastard, or Talon. Just a couple of my suggestions)

Tom clicked the safety of his rifle and advanced to the boxes Jacob was hiding behind. He motioned torward the rest of the group to watch the right exit, and Tom went around on the left, hugging the crate. He took a deep breath and flipped around the cover, quickly locating the merc and pointing the rifle at center of mass. "Get up, and walk around with your hands up, or I'll shove some rounds in your chest." His aim was highly practiced, and at this distance, a burst from the chinese assualt rifle would shred Jacob's insides. Tom waited calmy for the mercenary to stand.

Jacob slowly went where the man wanted him to not wanting to get shot. He frowned and said "Aren't you just going to kill me anyway?" He knew if they didn't he was going to have to follow them around like a trained dog. If they wanted him to he would just act like he would then escape when they least expected him to.

Henry was glad of someone else for people to put their hate on instead of him. Now he looked good compared to the man. But these amateurs weren't doing the job correctly, " Hey nothing makes a guy talk more than than a good stun baton" as Henry said this he was taking out his own and set it to medium, "here you go " handing it over to Demetri, " It's effects will probably leave him incapable of walking for a few days with no long term damage. consider it as a payment, in return I think I've proved myself trustworthy. I want my weapons and gear back. Here's how you work it." Henry raised the baton on the low setting and brought it down on the man's legs. " It won't disable you but it sure hurts doesn't it?"

Starr snatched the baton from Henry's hand before Demetri even realized it.

"So... If medium power will put him on his butt for a few days, what will high power do?"

She started playing with the power setting, switching it from low to high, high to low. She looked at the man who had just put a gun to her head moments earlier.

Jacob flinched when the baton had touched his leg. He tried to show no signs of pain. When Star asked about the high power jacob frowned. He smiled at her and said "Why don't you test it out on some innocent animal or something." He laughed and said to Demitri, "You gonna let them zap me. Come on," He said tauntingly, "Have a heart..."

She turned the power higher, and held it close to his arm. His hair started to stand on end.

"I'll leave his fate to you Demetri."

She then handed the baton to Demetri and went back to her seat.

Henry was just having some fun zapping the prisoner when Starr took it out of his hand and started toying around with the higher settings "Whoa put that thing down, high power might leave him with some brain damage and it could even be fatal!" Henry was glad when Starr handed it back to Demetri. Henry spoke to the prisoner who still hadn't revealed his name " Good thing she didn't zap you with it, otherwise you might not be remembering anything, and your nerves could have been paralyzed. don't worry they'll probably let you off before long. 16 hours ago they were roasting me alive and now I'm practically off the hook. Welcome aboard!"Then Henry left him to be judged by Demetri.

also because I just love harming my character and because we need some comedy even if it is dumb.

Nathan was peeved, he had gotten out of the train when the commotion outside got bad and walked to a comfortable spot to watch the carnage.
It was a nice view and he was out of the way. it was also quite hard to see him where he was.
The spot that Nathan had decided on was a crate near a small structure that had just exploded.
Nathan was in pain.
"Garragh" Nathan garbled

but Nathan had not been alive in the wasteland for as long as he had without experiencing mind-shattering pain and so ever so carefully picked himself up off the ground and tried to ignore the large inch and a half slivers of plywood driven into the back of his upper body and limped his way over to the large group of people that were at the time torturing the shmuck that had just a minute ago been threatening them.
he knew this because he had been watching the stand-off. mostly cheering for the other guy as fewer people meant he did not have to waste as many bullets clearing the way for those enclave spooks.

Nathan found the group then growled out" I don't know who threw that grenade and I don't particularly care" Nathan exhaled " If your going to kill that guy do it, if your squeamish bury him up to his neck in the sand and let the mole rats take care of him but whatever it is you plan.." Nathan inhaled before roaring out "DON'T THROW GRENADES INTO A PLYWOOD BUILDING"

Walking off Nathan muttered something about eyes, a spoon and mole rat dung but no one was really listening at the time.

Because to everyone that was behind him Nathan looked somewhat like a large, very angry, shriveled green porcupine.
and had he been paying attention he would have heard at least one crate carrier hold back a snorting laugh.

Demetri took the object, dropping it on thee floor he brought his heavy boot down on it breaking it, he just had a frown on his face, grabbing his would be assassin by the scruff of his neck he dragged onboard the locomotive and practically threw him into a seat, "Now you're going to tell me the location, not just some tower, but a name," Demetri said, "Otherwise what ever we find on the other side of this tunnel, I'm going to feed you to it."

Jacob let out a small sigh of relief when Demtri smashed the stun rod. Jacob then said "The towers name... ugh... it's hard to remeber. I think it was Tenpenny Tower. Yeah! That's it!" Jacob frowned because he had to tell. He then looked at Starr and said "You know I am will to forgive you for that little inncident, I don't hold grudges against some people..." He smirked and then looked back at Demtri.

Demetri went through his mind, "I don't see what I could of done to piss of anyone there," Demetri said, "Did he give you a reason why I'm wanted dead? Also what is the bounty?" demetri asked slightly calmer then he was in the first place, that wasn't easy when the person you're trying to be calm with just threw a grenade at you.

Starr turned to the assassin. She was about to say something insulting, but she couldn't stop herself from laughing.

After a few seconds of laughing Starr said, "Sorry, I didn't know you were a comedian."

She couldn't believe that the man that had a gun to her head only minutes earlier was trying to make her apologize for almost frying him. If anything they were even, but Starr could care less about her standing with an assassin from her old company. She was hoping that any minute the turrets would come out of the ceiling again and turn this guy into swiss cheese.

Jacob smiled when Starr laughed but then turned to Demtri and said "All he told me was that he wanted you dead, the bounty was about 2,500 caps. Also, he said if I got this job right, that he had another job for me me, something about Megaton." Jacob stated abruptly, "If your going to shoot me do it now. I have nothing else I could tell you." He frowned knowing that on probably his last job, he had failed because of a stupid tin can.

"Thats alot of money for my head," Demetri said "And you asked for fifteen hundread for infomation, you're crooked, you turn on your employeer for less? I may feed you to something afterall." Demetri looked as the driver board, "Ye all better get aboard," he said, "We be leaving now." Waiting for people to get onboard, he released the brake and pushed the throttle up. The train left smoothly this time, and went further into the darkness of the tunnel.

Demetri had a rest, though had made sure to lock the assassin in a compartment as to not worry about himself getting killed. He wouldn't really feed him, most likely leave him there, he can find his own way back, maybe even get him to do something useful then be a smartmouth. The train suddenly halted, "We be here now!" the driver shouted, Demetri looked up and saw a shutter blocking the exit. Picking himself up from his seat, he grabbed his minigun and helmet and left the locomotive, "You lot just wait there for now, be back in a few moments," Demetri said.

He made his way towards the exit, he put one of his hands under the shutter and pushed it up, walking outside and allowing his eyes adjust to the new light, he stood there dumb struck, "By all that is holy," Demetri said to himself, "You lot beter get out here and see this!" He was looking over a cliff, and down below he saw a forest of green, living trees. "Bring the enclave soldiers and the moron who got himself caught, don't want them shooting us in our back later on, if they escape.

Mark came outside and was awestruck by the natural beauty of Florida. He said, "It looks as if there was never a nuclear war." He could see trees for as far as his eyes could see. He looked down and saw what appeared to be a giant rattlesnake, likely desended from the native Eastern Diamondbacks, slither through a forest clearing. Mark then said, "Intersting, though it appears the bombs never hit, radiation has affected this place in some way." He then thought, "Could this have something to do with the GECK our employer sent us to retrieve I wonder?"

Starr got up and unlocked the assassin's compartment.

"C'mon scum, you get to go sight seeing," she said as she grabbed him by the arm.

Once she got outside with the "prisoner" she tossed him down.

She was about to say something to him, but her breath was taken away when she saw the green jungle. She had never seen so much life before.

After taking the view in for a while she looked at Demetri and said, "You know, you can destroy that assassin's contract. Without it he can't collect a bounty on you so you won't be a target anymore."

Starr then started walking around surveying more of the landscape.

"He might not work the same way," Demetri said, "Just bringing back proof will be enough for some people." Demetri looked at the assassin, "Anyway, we could find use for him, I'm not as cold hearted as I sound." Demetri looked across the landscape again. "I do believe this could be the G.E.C.K at work here, getting something like this could take decades..."

Demetri walked closer to the edge of the cliff and looked down it, "Best watch yourself, you wouldn't want to fall down there," Demetri noted, "We best find a way down, but first, which way do we head?" Grabbing the map and compass he was given he noted Orlando on the map and noticed a mark of where he was, using the compass he looked at it, "Seems we need to head south east, which is that way." He pointed in the direction he believed to be true. "Best get ready to leave, it seems the sun is low so we got some time before nightfall."

OOC Finally Florida!

Henry's men had been called upon to take point. The beauty of Florida was stunning, Henry liked actually seeing green for once, getting his weapons also made things brighter. It was good having his weapons back and Henry decided everyone needed a briefing before mindlessly heading out. " Okay everyone we don't know what threats we could be facing so listen up! In terms of wildlife the radiation could have caused the alligators to grow much larger and fast, we'll need to watch out for them. The indigenous people here may be at tribal levels , but don't discount the possibility of a heavily armed faction that we don't know about. Keep out of the swampy areas as that's rated by the Enclave as hazard level 5. Meaning that's theres all kinds of mutated plants and creatures. My men can handle it because its our job. Watch your back and keep the noise down we're in hostile territory now." Henry motioned to his squad " Wheaton, you take point"Then Henry began first steps of the journey.

Tom walked through the opening awestruck. The great green of the forest almost shocking him into blindness. The browns of the wasteland were all he was used to seeing. He had heard rumors about a place farther north that still had trees, but he had never been, this being the first time he had seen a tree that was actually alive. He shouldered his pack and checked his rifle, but before he moved on, he said one word: "Beautiful" Tom stepped through the foilage which he painstakingly trotted upon, following up behind the Enclave soldiers, serving as their prisoner escort.

Jacob frowned and said "I don't really care about any trees. Those trees only symbolize two things. The first, fruit! The second, Fire wood!" He laughed at his own joke then said "This is what you guys have come this far for? A bunch of trees? Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What are you guys going to do? Start the Wastelands biggest bon fire?" He laughed some more, while wondering what Demitri was talking about when he said they could use him. As he heard about the alligators he said "If only two can survive it's going to be me and..." He smirked again as he looked at starr. :cookie:

"Shut up " Henry barked," you want every raider or beast around to come up and kill you?" Then , Henry heard a sound he would never forget. It was a roar of pure primal rage that chilled Henry to the bone. " See? If you don't want that thing coming at us then keep your voice low." Of course it was also because Jacob was annoying Henry.
