Different Power Armor Types? : Fallout: New Vegas

Yea i was just wondering if were gonna have more than fo3 or less or the same... would be cool if we ended up with more

I'd think less since the Enclave and the BoS both play minor roles. but you never know :rolleyes:

Not a fan of it personally, but I do wonder what qualifies as "light armor" for the traveling perk... (+10% move speed when wearing light or no armor)

It's a level four perk that requires 45 points in the Survival skill. Hopefully that answers your question.

As for the armour, I've only seen pictures of the Advanced Power Armour and the Advanced Tesla Armour. Apparently there is also going to be T-51b armour worn by BoS. So that's three sets there, assuming that what has been said about the BoS being in the game is true.

It gets determined by, a text saying "light" where the DR and CND is all displayed, not sure if there is only Light and Heavy or if there is Medium as well.

Less, and they are alot harder to get. I think the Advanced Power Armor is in, the T51B and Advanced Tesla Armor.

Yes, and it actually protects you now, due to Damage Threshold, only high caliber or AP rounds will get through now.

Jury Rigging lets you repair power armor with Metal armor too, so that'll most likely be a must.

The REAL question Eightysix is if you have lets say, a HEAVY helmet/headgear but LIGHT Armor/bodygear wtf happens then?

helmets probably have no bearing or weight class. that'd be my guess anyways.

there was a unique outcast PA from the Oasis quest, and it wasn't all that hard to do.

Hmm then I'd venture it's all Light or nothing, as the perk says. :/ then again how many helmets are going to be "heavy" and still be decent to wear with "Light" gear anyways?

Edit: Example: Metal Helmet / Grimy Business Suit would look dumb. (in my opinion at least.)

I'm willing to bet there's maybe 1-2 more suits or varieties in the game beyond the ones we've seen thus far.

@Gabriel77Dan: There was the prototype medic armor in Old Olney, and I believe 2-3 varieties of BoS armor. IIRC there's one with a blue logo, one with a white logo and one with the Lyon's Pride logo.
