Agreed. The varmint rifle night-vision scope looks pretty decent as well.

I've actually made a request for something like this myself. Perhaps different scope mods available for a personalization. This would require a "demodding" tool though so people could experiment and find what they like. If i knew how to modify the crap i would make it myself... But no one will even tell me (i've asked multiple times).

A side note, i like how game devs add in random, unrealistic and exaggerated effects to make things seem more realistic. Whens the last time you got lens flair in your eyes...? Its a valid argument that sometimes realism is unrealistic, but its funny when you notice it, because most people dont.

Demodding tool? All you need to do is rename a DDS texture file to overwrite the scope you want to change. Or edit the texture directly using Photoshop or GIMP with the DDS add-on. The DDS files are in Textures2\textures\weapons\scope. Use a BSA unpacker like FOMM includes to extract the files. I've already unpacked and edited the one for binoculars in my Better Binoculars mod if you want to experiment.
