I am getting hammered by her! I am only level 9 so I am thinking I really shouldn't be fighting her yet. So can I leave Preston in an infinite fight while I bugger off and level up some? I tried missile launchers, grenades, pumping up with drugs, and power armour. Nothing- Mirelurk Queen is just like "cool story bro",- dead! Ahhhhh

It took me 20 missles, about 500 rounds of ammo, grenades, stimpacks and more to take one down at level 16. I also cheesed and shot from behind a wall every so often. If you are level 9 I would come back to it later or use a fat man with mini nukes

It's actually pretty easy. Her only real danger is that acid spit. Use the castle and even the outter walls for cover and go ALL AROUND the place to flank and hit and run. Use misses first (Maybe a mini nuke or two as well), then just keep hitting and running 'till he's down.

Honestly, hit and run. It works for most enemies. Deathclaws are a bigger pain because, you know, you can't really run from them.

I came up against a Legendary Mirelurk at level 6 at the quarry. Hate those creepy things. Needless to say I died and unfortunately it didn't respawn as a Legendary when I went back there

You should reload a previous save if she's impossible for your level Lowering your difficulty should also make up the difference.

Did it at level 13 took like 400 rounds but I hit and run seems like when you get far a nuff away thay stop chesing you and it goes back in to the water just fire ton off bulits in to it as soon as it gets up run away out till it gos from red to green then come back and it be back in the water ready for a nuther hit and run

I might reload previous save- I think I went up against this at too low a level
