I bought Morrowind today as a way of filling my excitement for Skyrim and I'm playing it on the 360 with the Xbox version, where exactly is the difficulty slider because I checked the options menu like where it was for Fallout 3/NV/Oblivion and nada.

I can only speak for the PC version and so it might be different.

ESC to bring up the menu (does the X-Box have an ESC key)?

Select OPTIONS

Select PREFS and it's the top slider.

If this doesn't work then I hope that somebody with your version posts a better answer - ie the correct one.

I can get to the preference menu but I only have 2 sliders, one is for the menu being translucent and the other is for some other menu function. :\

The X-Box version unfortunately doesn't have a difficulty slider, if I remember right.

Is it the original version, or the Game of the Year? I believe the latter added it.

Yeah the slider wasn't added until Tribunal was released.
